Product Information

The BS20 is a ring scanner with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, designed to be compatible with mobile phones and tablets. It operates at a frequency of 2402-2480MHz and uses GFSK module type. The maximum RF output power is 1.24dBm.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. To power on the BS20, long press the On/Off button for 3 seconds.
  2. In manual decoding mode, if there is no operation for 1 minute, the BS20 will automatically enter sleep mode.
  3. To force power off the BS20, long press the On/Off button for 8 seconds.
  4. When connecting the USB cable, the battery-related LED has priority to show. When disconnecting the USB cable, the Bluetooth-related LED has priority to show.
  5. Before setting barcode programming, scan the “Enter Setup” barcode. After setting barcode programming, scan the “Exit Setup” barcode.
  6. The BS20 has a Good Read Beep feature that can be turned on or off.
  7. The BS20 has a Good Read Vibration feature that can be turned on or off.
  8. The BS20 can be set to Bluetooth HID Mode or Bluetooth BLE Mode.
  9. To clear Bluetooth pairing information before changing to another host, use the “Clear Bluetooth Pairing” barcode programming option.
  10. To enable Terminating Character Suffix and set it to CRLF (0x0D,0x0A), use the corresponding barcode programming option.
  11. To set Terminating Character to CR (Carriage Return), use the corresponding barcode programming option.
  12. To disable Terminating Character Suffix, use the corresponding barcode programming option.
  13. To restore all factory defaults, use the “Restore All Factory Defaults” barcode programming option.

CONNECTION

When connecting USB cable, Battery related LED has the priority to show and when disconnecting USB cable, Bluetooth related LED has the priority to show

  1. Long press On/Off button for 3s to ; power on
  2. BS20 will auto sleep without operating ¡for min in manual decoding mode
  3. Long press On/Off button for 8s to ¡forced power off

Barcode Programming

Scan the Enter Setup before barcode setting and scan the Exit Setup after barcode setting

  5. Clear Bluetooth Pairing

  6. Clear Bluetooth Pairing

  7. Clear Bluetooth pairing information before change to other host

    Enable Terminating Character Suffix
    Set Terminating Character to CR (Carriage Return)
    Set Terminating Character to CRLF (OxOD,0x0A)
    Disable Terminating Character Suffix
