This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 years and over and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or by persons without experience and knowledge, provided that they use it under supervision or have been instructed concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the risks involved.

Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance by the user should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years or under supervision.

This appliance is intended for use in domestic and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other workplaces, farmhouses, by customers in hotels, motels and other residential environments such as Bed & Breakfast environments.

Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

The diameter of the base of the utensils used must match the size of the hot plate. Do not use utensils with a larger diameter than that of the electric hot plate.

WARNING: Use only glass or metal cookware suitable for ceramic stoves.

CAUTION: Do not allow the appliance to operate unattended when heating oil or fat.

WARNING: Always use protective oven mitts when placing or removing accessories from the appliance.

WARNING: Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when you are finished using it. Turn the adjustable thermostat to the “OFF” position before unplugging the power cord.

CAUTION: Before cleaning or storing the appliance, switch the appliance off, pull the plug out of the socket and allow it to cool thoroughly. Always pull the plug itself, not the lead.

Do not let the power cord hang off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with hot surfaces.

Make sure the power cord is easily accessible at all times.

Do not pull or stretch the power cable as this may damage the cord and cause an electric shock.

Regularly check the appliance for signs of damage.
WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself.
Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts. -
Any intervention other than cleaning and normal maintenance must be carried out by an approved technician. Risk of electric shock!

WARNING: If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth as mentioned inside the “CLEANING” paragraph.

Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
-
Make sure the adjustable thermostats are in the “OFF” position, then plug the appliance into a properly installed and grounded outlet. Make sure your mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the appliance’s rating label.
-
Turn the thermostat knobs clockwise and select the maximum temperature.
-
Let the electric stove operate without any cookware on it for about 10 minutes.
NOTE: This is the only time the electric stoves shall be operated without cookware. You should always use cooking ware on the stoves. Do not use the electric stoves without cookware on it. -
Turn the adjustable thermostats counterclockwise to the “OFF” position to turn off the appliance.

Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
NOTE: When the appliance is used for the first time, there may be a slight odor or smoke. This is normal and does not affect the security of your appliance.
OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE
-
Make sure the adjustable thermostats are in the “OFF” position, then plug the appliance into a properly installed and grounded outlet. Make sure your mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the appliance’s rating label.

Turn the adjustable thermostat knob clockwise (or both thermostat knobs if you want to use both stoves at the same time) to select the desired operating temperature. The light indicator will light up.
-
Place the appropriate cookware on the electric stove.
NOTE: For the most efficient operation of your appliance, you should use cookware with a flat base. The diameter of the base of the utensils used must match the size of the stove. Do not use cooking ware with a larger diameter than the diameter of the electric stove.
CAUTION: Do not let the appliance work without any cookware on the stove. Excessive heat may result which may result in appliance damage or even fire. -
The operation indicator light will go out as soon as the stove reaches the desired temperature.

Once cooking is complete, turn the adjustable thermostat counterclockwise to the “OFF” position to turn off the electric stove.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Remove the cookware from the stove.
CAUTION: Always wear protective kitchen gloves when using the appliance. The appliance develops high temperatures during operation. Risk of burns! -
Allow the appliance to cool thoroughly before cleaning and storing.
CLEANING
- Before cleaning the appliance, always disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Allow the electric stove to cool down before cleaning.
- Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild household detergent if necessary.
CAUTION:
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Be careful not to get water inside the ventilation ducts. 4. Avoid using abrasives or other sharp objects for cleaning. These may cause damage to the appliance. 5. Do not use a wire brush or reinforced cleaners.
STORING
- Before storing the appliance, always disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Make sure the appliance is cold and dry before storing.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the best protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.

indicates that the product and its electronic accessories should not be
disposed of with other household trash.
