Product Information

The product is a fixture that requires installation. It is essential to follow the provided instructions for proper and safe operation. The fixture comes with a universal mounting plate (B) and requires grounding for safe usage. The fixture wires are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, which need to be connected to the corresponding wires from the outlet box.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. Remove the fuse or shut off the circuit breaker.
  2. Take out the fixture from the carton and ensure that all parts, including screws, are included.
  3. Secure the universal mounting plate (B) to the outlet box using outlet box screws. Do not attach the fixture directly to the outlet box.
  4. For grounding, insert the green grounding screw into the hole with two raised dimples on the circular strap. If the fixture has a ground wire, wrap it around the grounding screw and connect it to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire connector. If the fixture does not have a ground wire, wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the grounding screw and tighten it.
  5. Identify the color of the wires on your fixture and connect them according to the following groups
    • Group A : Connect to Black House Wire
    • Group B : Connect to White House Wire
  6. Place the fixture wires from Group A evenly against the black wire from the outlet box. Do not twist the wires together.
  7. Fit a wire connector over the wires and screw it clockwise until it feels firm.
  8. Check the connection by gently trying to pull the connector off the wires. If it comes off, repeat steps 6 and 7 and ensure a firm connection.
  9. Connect the fixture wire from Group B to the white wire from the outlet box using the same method as in steps 6 and 7.
  10. After connecting the wires, tuck them carefully inside the outlet box.
  11. Assemble the backplate to the universal mounting plate (B), ensuring that the mounting holes align properly.
  12. Tighten the backplate on the universal mounting plate.
