Robert Sorby SteadyPro Turning System
Product Information
- The Robert Sorby SteadyPro is a heavy-duty tool support system designed for use with lathes. It features cantilever roller positioning, allowing for optimum tool support. The SteadyPro is constructed with durability in mind, ensuring long-lasting performance. The system includes a stem that can be easily inserted and locked into position using the provided screw. With quick and easy adjustment capabilities, the SteadyPro offers convenience and flexibility during use. It is compatible with a range of Robert Sorby tools for both external shaping, scraping, and finishing, as well as hollowing and internal shaping.
- The SteadyPro is designed to securely hold the desired tool while allowing for light movement from left to right. It ensures proper tool shaft contact with both rollers at all times during use, maximizing stability and control. The upper roller needs to be adjusted to sit securely on top of the tool without hindering its operation.
