STERILE UMBILICAL Cord Clamp
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
- Read the instructions before using the medical device.
- Do not reuse. Sterility is guaranteed only with an undamaged package. Use immediately after opening
- Check always the integrity of the locking system before use. If incomplete, do not use it.
- For good measure use two umbilical clamps.
- Place the clamps on the umbilical cord, the first at 1e cm from the newborn baby’s body, the second at 15 cm (the distance between the two clamps should be approx 5 cm).
- Close the first clamp until it locks and clicks; make certain the two parts of the clamp are perfectly locked together. Do the same with the second clamp .
- Cut the cord.
- The clamp can be removed only breaking its back side.
Risk condition: bleeding from the umbilical cord may be possible. Dispose
of after-use according to the laws in force. For use only under trained
medical staff.
