3. Insert the capillary into the 2 holes on side A of the heatblock, and
carefully align the 2 holes at the bottom of the heatsink with the capillary.
Slightly press (to ensure that the capillary has penetrated into the
heatsink).

heatblock’s B side and lockthem tightly.
5. Use H1 .5 hexagon bar to load 2 M3 head screws into the 2 threaded holes
on the front and back of the heatblock.
6. If you’re using glass ball typed thermocouple, put the thermocouple into
the brass sleeve in the accessories kit (brass sleeve is shown in the picture

Hot – Tightening
-
Hot – tightening is the last mechanical step before the Zodiac x Phaetus Dragonfly BMO Hotend is ready! Hot – tightening is essential for the sealing of the nozzle and heatbreak to ensure that molten filaments do not leak out of the hotend during use.
-
Using the printer’s control software (or LCD screen), set the hotend’s temperature to 285°C.
Wait 1 minute after its temperature reaches 285°C to equalize the temperature of all components. -
Gently tighten the nozzle first, and at the same time fix the heatblock with the 10mm open – ended wrench carried in the accessories kit, and finally tighten the nozzle with the hexagon bar.
This will keep the nozzle close to the heatbreak and ensure that the hotend does not leak. -
The tightening torque of the hot nozzle is about 2.5nm, which is about the pressure applied by one finger on a small wrench.
ATTENTION: Do not touch the hotend directly with your hands during heating and within a period of time after heating.
