Instruction

• Do not use the appliance either near a wet or water filled bathtub or wash-basin or with wet hands and/or feet.
• When you use the appliance inside a bathro- om, unplug it from the mains after use because the presence of water nearby can be dangerous even when the iron is off.
• Falls can damage the appliance as well as com- promise its safety and durability. Check the ap- pliance before using it again. If necessary, have it checked by qualified staff.
• So as to guarantee additional safety, you are re- commended to install in the electrical circuit feeding the bathroom a differential current device, whose rated working differential current is not higher than 30 mA. Ask your qualified technician for advice.
• The appliance must not be tampered with in any way. For checking, repairing and replacing the feeding cable, turn to the authorised custo- mer service.
• Never wind up the cable around the appliance.
• We decline all responsibility for any damage to people, animals or things following improper use of the appliance.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been gi- ven supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

However, it is important that you understand the terms and limita- tions under your warranty. This is our way of guaranteeing you a satisfactory product! ELCHIM warrants this appliance to be free from manufacturing de- fect for 12 months from date of original purchase.

In order to provide our customers with the best service, we need to insure that they are purchasing from an authorized Elchim dealer. The warranty will not be valid if purchased from an unauthorized dealer.

ELCHIM DEFECTIVE RETURN POLICY

30 days from purchase – return your unit if defective to your distributor along with your proof of purchase for over the counter exchange.

The remainder of warranty (11 months) send directly with your proof of purchase to:

Your appliance will be repaired at no cost to you for parts and la- bour. We do ask that you enclose a $12.00 check for shipping and handling per each unit.

Attention : If no receipt sent with dryer, then the cost will be $ 22.00 per unit.

After one year, you may send your appliance to the above address to be repaired. We do ask that you include a check for $ 22.00 which includes parts, labour and shipping cost. ELCHIM is void of responsibility for repair or replacement if the ap- pliance was dropped or damaged by abuse, misuse, tampering, or used with unauthorized attachments.
