Tiles must acclimate to your room at a temperature above 65°F (18°C) for at least 48 hours before installation.

Surface Preparation
Floor surface must be dry, smooth, and clean (free of dust, dirt, debris, wax, oil or grease. Do not install tiles over heated floors, loose or uneven flooring, damp concrete, or on concrete with high alkaline levels. When installing over concrete or wood, use a latex primer to coat the surface. Additional adhesives are not recommended for use with these peel and stick tiles. Do not install tiles where the temperature regularly reaches below 55°F or over 85° F. This product is intended for indoor use.

Installation

1. Snap or draw a line from opposite corners of the room to find the center point of the floor.
2. To confirm tile placement, place tiles on the floor keep adhesive liner in place from the center of the room and work towards the walls.
3. You want your tile placement to minimize the need for tiny tile pieces along the edges.
4. Adjust layout as necessary.
5. Remove the backing from the first tile, and position from the center of the room press/smooth down firmly.
6. To maintain adhesive strength, avoid debris or oil from your hands to come in contact with the back of the tiles.
7. Match the next tile, rotating the pattern as needed for the best pattern match, and install it tightly against the first, while lining up tile edges.
8. Apply the tiles in a step pattern, working in one-quarter of the room at a time.
9. There may be slight variations in design from tile to tile due to the nature of the printing process.
10. Rotation of the tiles will allow for the best match and overall look.
11. Use a utility knife and straight edge to trim the tiles to fit along the edges of the room.
12. Installing tiles to the wall under baseboards will be more forgiving when trimming the edges, and will allow for proper room expansion when temperatures shift.
13. Installing the tiles too tight can cause buckling as room temperature fluctuates.
14. For an optimal bond, use a 75-100Ib tile roller.

Cleaning Tiles

• Wait five days after installation before cleaning.
• Clean tiles with a dry or damp mop with mild diluted soap or vinyl floor cleaner.
• Do not soak tiles, as this will have an adverse effect on the adhesive.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, deter­gents or soaps, one step cleaners, or wax.
