INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Push the knob down and turn it fo close or open the door.
- The furning knob blocks as soon as the lock s closed or unlocked complefely.
- Turning the key fixes the current position of the turning knob: locked or un‘{ncked.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
For the assembly of the lock where REMIS IV shading for side panels are present, please use our printed pattern on this leaflet or visit our website: www.solution.de For the assembly of the lock into the new Fiat Ducato 290, Fiat Ducato 250, Peugeot Boxer and itroén Jumper – constructed from 2014 onwards,please use the addifonal part included.
- Lift the arm-rest and remove it.
- Screw off the screw with o TORX TX30 screw driver.
- Demount the basic plate from the complete assembled lock which we delivered. To avoid that any small parts (screws / compression springs) to get lost, turn the knob out completely and press both parts (basic plate and the remaining lock part) together when you unfasten the Two screws.
- Position the basic plate HEOSaf8® into the arm-rest and fix it with the supplied screw ‘SMfi)(SO) usinz an Allen® 5 mm screw driver.
- Now position the remaining locking part on the basic plate and fix it on the plate with the two screws. Pay atfention that the pen slides into the opening for the pen in the basic plate.
- Position the complete lock now into the arm-rest and dril?u hole with a boring bit of 2 mm. fix the complete lock with the supplied screw info the arm-est.
- At the position of the bolt barrel, push the rubber seal between the B pillar and the cover of the B pillar (frame).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
After finishing the assembly, close the door carefully and pay attention the HEGSaf8® Lock passes the rubber seal without any difficulty.

Atthe height of the barrel, push the rubber seal at the B column between the edge profile and the plasfic cover. Put the additional part af the correct position and screw it on to the plastic cover of the B column. If you close the lock and the barrel is not completely interlocked, than cut out the inner part of the additional part out of the plastic cover. (a)

For a visually appealing finish, you can cut the rubber seal at the upper and bottom side of the outer frame of the additional part. (b)

This part should also be applied for the DUCATO 250 produced from 2014 onwards. Even in the DUCATO 250 (2006 – 2013) you can se this part to enlarge the grip of the barrel when closing the lock. The only difference is, that you have fo cut out the rubber seal completely to the border of the edge profile. (¢)

By cutfing out the inner counter, the inner part where the harrel inserts becomes deeper 50 that the complete system obtains an even larger stability.
Jig for left door
Assembly HEOSafe® 12656 / 12646 for FIAT DUCATO 250 / 290 with REMIS IV sun screen.
- Cut out the printed jig (right or left as required).
- Position the jig af the frame of the REMIS IV. The two arrows on the jig should correspond with the two gaps in the arm-est.
- Fix the jig by putting doublefaced adhesive tape. Take care that you get a 90° angle between the upper edge of the jig and the frame.
- Cut out the indicated line on the ig, using o Dremel®, sawing plate up to 20 mm. By using this small cutting machine you avoid that the complete REMIS IV has fo be removed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- The lock can only be used with the key.
- Unlock the VAN security lock with the key and turn it 180° so that you open the door.
- Only in the locked or unlocked position the key can be removed.
- Always keep a key at hand!
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Unlock the VAN security lock and turn it 90 °. This is the assembly position.
- ark the required drill holes. The best way to do this, is by holding the frame at the position where you want to mount the lock. Please pay attention for the sliding door: the lock should be positioned about 10 cm above the rail. Please check before the drilling that the door passes the lock without any difficulties. For the wind doors, the lock is mounted on the door part which you have to open from the inside.
- Drill the holes with a 3, 20 mm drill bit.
- Grease the holes and put the sponge rubber seals in place.
- Take a 4 mm Allen Key and screw the lock tight with the 4 special screws which are included in the delivery contents.
