Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of AC power supply is required to recharge the WeatherX radio?

The radio can be charged without an AC adaptor. The internal battery will be charged by the crank. Your inserted batteries are not rechargeable. I’ve tried both energy sources and they function just fine.

Which cable should I use to utilize the WeatherX radio to charge my phone?

Along with the radio is a cable. The cable features an end that can accommodate a USB plug. Include your own cable with a USB plug on the end that will fit your phone. The handle must then be cranked to charge, in my opinion.

Does this WeatherX radio provide local maritime NOAA weather updates?

Why is my weather radio beeping?

Why is my weather station beeping?

A couple of things can cause the station display to beep. One is a sensor that needs batteries or one that has failed. Even though there is no battery icon on the display, if one of the sensors’ batteries are failing, the sensor may lose and recover connection with the display, which will cause it to beep.

Why does my weather radio not work?
