INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
This locker is designed to rest on a flat, plumb surface made of wood or other strong structural material. It is not designed to be mounted. The locker includes 4 trim pieces which are packaged separately. The trim pieces are not installed prior to shipment, to avoid the possibility of damage. Install the trim prior to securing the locker in place.
The locker is placed on the flat surface and secured in place through 4 separate locker install ports, located in the compartments in the 4 corners of the locker (top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left). The locker should be secured using structural screws or similar hardware, and should only be secured to vertical wood studs or other strong structural material.
All components aside from the trim pieces are located in the bottom tablet lockers.
BACK SIDE
INSTALLATION STEPS
1 Unpack the locker and the trim pieces. Each locker includes 4 trim pieces (2 top, 2 sides). Find the master key taped to the side of the locker. Use the master key to open the bottom tablet compartments of the locker which include the components.
2 The trim pieces will need to be installed on all sides. Set the locker on a surface and ensure it cannot fall over (it is best to use 2 people during trim installation). Use trim install screws to install the trim.
3 Identify the 4 locker install ports in the corner compartments (top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left). Insert structural screws into the holes and drive them through to secure the locker to the vertical framing. Washers may be required. MAKE SURE NOT TO BEND THE OUTER METAL FRAME OF THE LOCKER! DOING SO MAY DAMAGE THE ENTIRE LOCKER UNIT! ADD MATERIAL TO THE FRAMING IF REQUIRED.
4 Find the locker install port covers and the locker install port cover gaskets. Place the gasket between the cover and secure the cover to the side of the compartment using the locker install port cover screws. Ensure all of the screws are tightened or the compartment may not block RF effectively.
5 Locker installation is complete. For details regarding lock usage and 5 reprogramming the combination, refer to the Combination Lock Operating Instructions.
GASKET REPLACEMENT
An extra set of gaskets has been provided with each locker, to fully replace the compartment gaskets as well as door gaskets. To replace the gaskets, simply remove the old gaskets and insert the new gaskets. If additional gaskets are required, please contact MOS Equipment.
