WARNINGS

• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

• Do not keep or use the appliance in humid areas.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes and/or liquids.

• Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the appliance. If the USB charging cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons, in order to avoid any risks. Improper repairs may expose the user to
  considerable risk.

• Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly.

• Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

• Do not use an extension cord to operate appliance. Plug the adapter directly in the electrical outlet.

• Do not bend the USB charging cable.

• Keep the USB charging cable away from the heated surfaces.

• Check that the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

• WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the USB connection cord, connected to a USB charger.

• If you notice any transport damage when unpacking the product, please contact your dealer without delay.

•  Do not use the appliance for purposes other than styling human hair. This appliance is designed to shave body hair, facial hair, beards and/or moustache hair. It is not recommended to be used as a professional hair clipper to cut the head hair. Do not use the appliance to cut artificial hair.

• The USB charging cable must not come into contact with water or other liquids as this may cause electric shock. Therefore, never use the hair appliance over a filled sink or while having a bath.

• WARNING: Keep the power cable dry.

• For your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

• Unplug the appliance if you do not plan to use it for a long time, or if the appliance malfunctions during use, also during thunderstorms and when cleaning.

• Do not use the appliance when it’s plugged in and/or charging. Always unplug when using.

• Do not wash the appliance body or power adaptor with water or expose them to water as this may create a risk of electric shock or short circuit.

•  The power adaptor must be pulled out of the mains socket before maintenance is carried out, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.

• The appliance is 5 voltage.

• This product contains sharp blades, please take the utmost care when handling and using it.

• This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.

• Please keep these instructions for future reference. Contact manufacturer for instructions in an alternative format.

• Incorrect handling of the batteries can lead to an explosion or to acid burns.

• Avoid contact of the fluid in the battery with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

• Do not short-circuit the battery or disassemble the batteries.

• In the event of contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the areas with plenty of clean water and immediately consult a doctor if an unexpected reaction occurs.

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

• Charging the rechargeable battery before first use, the appliance must be fully charged.
• Make sure the appliance is turned off.
• Insert the connector of the USB charging cable directly into the power jack of the appliance. Normal charging will take 3 hours. The maximum shaving time is approx. 90 minutes with a full charge.
• Plug the USB charging cable into a mains adaptor and plug it into a mains socket.
• The indicator light will come on to indicate charging. It will not go out when the battery is fully charged. You can not remove the battery.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn off your appliance and wait until it is completely cool. Before cleaning, remove the accessory and the used blade and clean with the aid of the cleaning brush that was fitted in the product.
• Clean your appliance using a damp cloth and then dry it.

USE

What to do before fi rst use:

• Remove the packaging material and inspect the device for damage.
• Do not operate the device if it is damaged in any way. Return it to your seller immediately.
• Never expose the appliance to temperatures below -10°C or higher than +40°C for long periods of time.
• In order to get an ideal cutting effect, check all accessories of the product, as well as clean and maintain the product.

INTENDED USE

• Warning! Only use the device externally.
• The appliance is only intended for human hair.
• Any incorrect use can be dangerous!
• The hair must be clean and dry when being cut.
• Only shave small areas at one time
• The cutting head will jam if you try to work too quickly or try to cut too much hair at once.
• Let the appliance run for a short time before starting to cut.

USING THE APPLIANCE

• Attach the accessory which is to be used in the appliance.
• Turn on the appliance. To turn on the appliance press the switch On / Off upwards. Hold the appliance in your palm with an angle perpendicular to the plane of the skin (90°). There is no need to apply much pressure on the appliance.
• Just let the appliance touch the surface of your skin gently.

TIPS AND HINTS CONCERNING USE

1. The hair must be clean and dry when being cut.
2. Only cut small amounts at one time.
3. Cut the hair with progressively closer settings until you reach the desired length.
4. The cutting head will jam if you try to work too quickly or try to cut too much hair at one.
5. Let the appliance run for a short time before starting to cut.
6. Using the cutting head without its attachment, you can fi nely trim a beard -even the hard-to-reach parts – and can cleanly shave hair over the temples and neck.

GUIDE COMB

1. Use the guide comb to trim hair evenly.
2. The set length on the appliance.

DISASSEMBLING THE COMB

1. Set the comb to the lowest millimeter position by pushing downwards.
2. Use your thumb to adjust the limit comb position.
3. To remove the comb, push upwards untill the comb is removed from the appliance.
4. To attach the comb, slide the comb into the appliance.

SHAPING A BEARD AND SHAVING THE BACK OF THE NECK WITHOUT THE ATTACHMENT

1. Remove the attachment.
2. Draw the cutting head at a shallow angle along the skin without applying pressure.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

Please remove the battery before disposing of the device/unit. Do not dispose of old batteries with your household waste but at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste. Electronic and Electrical Equipment not included in the selective sorting process are potentially dangerous for the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances. Please dispose of responsibly at an approved waste or recycling facility.

WARRANTY

The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, 24 months, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.

• The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
• The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service center. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
• The warranty will not apply in cases of:

1. Normal wear and tear
2. Incorrect use, e.g., overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
3. Use of force, damage caused by external infl uences
4. Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual, e.g., connection to an unsuitable main supply or non-compliance with the installation instructions
5. Partially or completely dismantled appliances
6. The accessories are not covered by the terms of the warranty because they are subject to wear.
