WARNINGS

  • WARNING : Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons which reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Do not keep and use the appliance in humid areas.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use the appliance with wet hands or let water drop on the appliance. It may cause electric shock and injury. Do not operate the electrical appliance with wet hands or if the appliance is wet.
  • Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes and/or liquids.
  • Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the appliance. If the USB cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the  manufacturer, it’s service agent or similar qualified persons, in order to avoid a hazard. Improper repairs may expose the user to considerable risk.
  • Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped into water.
  • Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use extension cord to operate appliance. Plug the adapter directly in the electrical outlet.
  • Do not bend the electrical cord.
  • Keep cord away from the heated surfaces.
  • Check that the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
  • WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the USB connection cord, connected to a USB charger.
  • Do not use the trimmer for purposes other than styling human hair. This trimmer is designed to shorten and trim hair and beards. Do not use the trimmer to cut artificial hair.
  • Normal charging will be take 8 hours. The maximum shaving time is 50 minutes with a full charge.
  • The USB cable must not come into contact with water or other liquids as this may cause electric shock. Therefore, never use the trimmer over a filled sink or while having a bath.
  • lf the trimmer falls into water, immediately pull the mains adaptor out of the wall socket.
  • Do not wash the trimmer with water.
  • WARNING: Keep the trimmer and the power cable dry.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • For your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
  • Unplug the trimmer if you do not plan to use it for a long time, or if the trimmer malfunctions during use, also during thunderstorms and when cleaning.
  • Take care not to damage the power cable. Do not bend, extend, twist or otherwise manhandle it. Do not place heavy objects on the power cable or squeeze it as this may create a risk of electric shock or fire. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a designated maintenance agent in order to avoid a dangerous situation.
  • Do not plug in or pull out the power adaptor with wet hands or you may receive an electric shock.
  • Do not wash the trimmer body or power adaptor with water or expose them to water as this may create a risk of electric shock or short circuit.
  • The power adaptor must be pulled out of the mains socket before maintenance is carried out, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
  • Please keep these instructions for future reference. Contact manufacturer for instructions in an alternative format.
  • Incorrect handling of the batteries can lead to an explosion or to acid burns.
  • Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Avoid contact of the fluid in the battery with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
  • This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable
  • Do not short-circuit the battery or disassemble the batteries.
  • In the event of contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the areas with plenty of clean water and immediately consult a doctor if an unexpected reaction occurs.

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

  • Charging the rechargeable battery before first use, the hair trimmer must be fully charged.
  • Make sure the trimmer is turned off.
  • Insert the connector of the USB charging cable into the trimmer.
  • Plug the USB charging cable into a mains adaptor and plug it into a mains socket. The indicator light will come on to indicate charging. It will not go out when the battery is fully charged. This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Turn off your trimmer and wait until it is completely cool. Before cleaning, remove the accessory and the used blade and clean with the aid of the cleaning brush that was fitted in the product.
  • Clean your trimmer using a damp cloth and then dry it. After each use, follow the instructions to replace the blades of your trimmer.

USE
What to do before first use:

  • Remove the packaging material and inspect the device for damage.
  • Do not operate the device if it is damaged in any way. Return it to your seller immediately.
  • Never expose the trimmer to temperatures below -10°C or higher than +40°C for long periods of time.
  • In order to get an ideal cutting effect, check all accessories of product, as well as clean and maintain the product.

INTENDED USE

  • Warning! Only use the device externally.
  • The appliance is only intended for human hair.
  • Any incorrect use can be dangerous!
  • To remove an attachment, hold the trimmer with one hand and gently pull off the attachment with your other hand. You can easily click on another attachment.
  • The hair must be clean and dry when being cut.
  • Only cut small amounts at one time.
  • Cut the hair with progressively closer settings until you reach the desired length.
  • The cutting head will jam if you try to work too quickly or try to cut too much hair at once.
  • Let the appliance run for a short time before starting to cut.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  • Attach the accessory which is to be used in the appliance.
  • Select the accessory depending on your needs.
  • Attach the accessory to your hair trimmer.
  • Turn on the appliance. To turn on the appliance. Hold the appliance in your palm with an angle perpendicular to the plane of the skin (90°). There is no need to apply much pressure on the appliance.
  • Just let the appliance touch the surface of your skin gently.
  • Move the appliance closer to the area to be trimmed and move the appliance up and down gently to trim the hairs.

GUIDE COMB

  1. Use the guide comb to trim hair evenly to a length of 1- 16 mm.
  2. To set the desired length, move the wheel either upwards or downwards.
  3. The set length is indicated by the scale on the appliance.

DISASSEMBLING THE TRIMMER COMB

  1. Set the comb to the lowest millimeter position (2 mm) by turning the wheel downwards.
  2. Use your thumb to firmly clamp the adjustment wheel down.
  3. With the other hand, pull the comb from the trimmer, while at the same time holding the adjustment wheel firmly with your other hand.
  4. To replace the comb, insert and push both sides back into the slots at the same time until it clicks back into place.

SHAPING A BEARD AND SHAVING THE BACK OF THE NECK WITHOUT THE ATTACHMENT.

  1. Remove the attachment.
  2. Draw the cutting head at a shallow angle along the skin without applying pressure.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

Please remove the battery before disposing of the device/ unit. Do not dispose of old batteries with your household waste, but at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.

WARRANTY

The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, for 12 months, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.

  • The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
  • The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service center. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
  • The warranty will not apply in cases of:
  1. Normal wear and tear
  2. Incorrect use, e.g., overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
  3. Use of force, damage caused by external influences
  4. Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual, e.g., connection to an unsuitable main supply or noncompliance with the installation instructions
  5. Partially or completely dismantled appliances
  6. The accessories are not covered by the terms of the warranty because they are subject to wear.
