Product Information
Product Name: TRAPEZ V
The TRAPEZ V is a solar panel mounting system manufactured by SL Rack GmbH. It
is designed for installation on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. The product is
made of aluminum and features EPDM rubber sealing for enhanced durability and
weather resistance.
The TRAPEZ V is part of a series of mounting systems, including Trapez I,
Trapez II with RAIL, Trapez III, Trapez IV, and Trapez V with mid clamp. It
comes with a 10-year warranty.

Product Usage Instructions
- Position the Trapez V according to the structural report, ensuring it is centered and parallel to the rib.
- Use a cordless screwdriver with a depth stop to install the optional screws. Place an EPDM sealing washer centered on the top of the rib and tighten to 2 Nm.
- Insert the claw of the end clamp into the rail channel of the Trapez V.
- Place the module on the Trapez V and secure it with end and mid clamps using a Torx TX40 with 6 Nm of torque.
- Optional: Use cross connectors for additional vertical rail mounting.
Note: The installation of Trapez V should be symmetrical. If using a cross-rail system, adhere to the maximum cantilever specified in the structural report. Always install the Trapez V centered and parallel to the rib, with the attachments in a horizontal line. Ensure the clamps are centered in the profile and avoid the edge areas for statics reasons.

Installation
- Position Trapez V according to the structural report ( centered, parallel to the rib).
- Use a cordless screw driver with depth stop to install the optionally available screws incl. EPDM sealing washer centered on the top of the rib (2 Nm).
- Push the claw of the end clamp into the rail channel of Trapez V.
- Put down the module and fasten it with end and mid clamps (Torx TX40 with 6 Nm)
- The optional use of cross connectors enables additional vertical rail mounting.
Alignment
The installation of Trapez V has to be symmetrical. In case of an optional
cross-rail system the max. cantilever according to the structural report has
to be adhered to.

- Statik The structural analysis is carried out in accordance with the current country-specific standards (EN 1991, EC1 for Germany). Depending on snow loads, wind loads, or when utilizing large modules, it may be necessary to use more than the usual 4 fastening points. Make sure to observe the installation manual of the respective module manufacturer. The load-bearing capacity of the roof has not been evaluated by SL Rack.
