BKM-1000 Food Processor
Congratulations!
You have just purchased a Koblenz® Mix&Go. Please read this manual carefully
before operating this machine. Model and serial numbers can be found on the
back of the packaging. You should write down both numbers and keep them in a
safe place for future reference. Keep this manual.
Read all instructions before using this device.

WARNING
The Koblenz Mix &Go is for household use only.
When using your Mix&Go, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Read all instructions before using.

Adult supervision is necessary when your Mix&Go is being used by or near children.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or any part of your Mix&Go in water or other liquids.

Handle your Mix&Go carefully, cutting blades are sharp.
-
Do not let the cord to hang over the edge of the table, or touch hot surfaces.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid any risk.

The use of accessories attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause hazard or injury.

Your Mix&Go only works if the cup with the blade is inserted into the motor base.

Before turning on your Mix&Go, make sure the cup is properly placed on the motor base.

Disconnect from power when your Mix&Go is not in use and before cleaning.

To disconnect separate the cup from the base and unplug from the outlet. Always pull from the plug and never from the cable.

To avoid personal injury, never blend hot ingredients or liquid in your Mix&Go.

Use extreme caution when removing the cup from your Mix&Go.

The blades are very sharp. Handle with care, never insert the blades into the motor base without first securing the cup.

Do not operate your Mix&Go in malfunction or dry motion.
-
Avoid any contact with blades or moving parts when your Mix&Go is turned on.

Do not place any of these materials inside the cup: hot liquid, cardboard, plastic, paper or any similar material.

Do not store any materials other than that recommended by the manufacturer on your Mix&Go when not in use.

Your Mix&Go is not microwave safe. Do not place the cups, motor or any other accessory in the microwave as this can cause damage to the unit.

Prevent children from using this device. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or due to lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised by a responsible adult to ensure that they do not use the device as a toy.

This appliance is intended household use or similar such as:
a) By staff in rest areas of shops, kitchens, offices or other work environments
b) Country houses
c) By customers in hotels, motels or other residential environments
d) Bedroom or dining room environments. -
Never blend carbonated beverages, as the pressure that builds up from the release of gases can cause the container to burst, resulting in possible harm and injury.

Don’t operate continuously for more than 1 minute, if the cup is hot let it cool before opening and keep it away from your body.

Do not fill the container beyond the MAX line.

Do not attempt to remove the container or cup while the blades are spinning or operating. Always wait until the machine has stopped completely.

Before using the product make sure you have cleaned all parts that may come into contact with food.
Follow the washing instructions in this instruction manual. -
To stop the operation at any moment lift the cup from the base.
POLARIZED OUTLET
This appliance is for use on a 120 V~ circuit, and has a polarized plug as
shown in figure A.
A temporary adapter may be used to connect this plug to non-polarized outlet.
Temporary adapter should be used only until a properly polarized outlet can be
installed by a qualified electrician.
NOTE: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not permitted by the
Canadian Electrical Code.

NOTES:
Components may vary depending on the Mix&Go model purchased.
The blades and cups of your Mix&Go are not compatible with other Koblenz
products.
OPERATION
FOR FIRST USE
- Remove packaging material and labels from the unit. The blades are very sharp be careful while unpacking.
- Wash containers, lids, and blades with warm water, soap, and a handled utensil to avoid contact with the blades.
- Rinse with plenty of water and let all the component dry.
- Dont use a sponge or any abrasive material.
USE
-
Place your ingredients in the cup and add the liquid to the MAX line.

Attach the blades in the cup and make sure the container is fully sealed when placing on the motor base.

Align the activator tabs with their corresponding openings and plug the cord to the outlet.

For the pulse function press the cup slightly against the base for the desired duration. Do not hold down for more than 1 minute.

For the automatic operation, turn the cup slightly until the engine is turned on.
It will turn off automatically after 1 minute. -
Once the blend process is finished, remove the cup from the base and detach the blades from the cup. Do not store blended ingredients with the blades attached into the cup.

Attach any of the accessories included with your Mix&Go into the cup to enjoy your drink!

Unplug the base from the power outlet.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
CAUTION:
Before cleaning your Mix&Go, make sure that appliance plug is not connected to
a power supply.
- Pour warm water into the cup you want to clean.
- Place a few drops of liquid soap inside the cup.
- Screw the blades into the cup.
- Place the cup with the blades on the base and turn on your Mix&Go for 15 to 30 seconds to achieve a good level of cleanliness.
- Remove the cup from the base and rinse with plenty of water and let all the pieces air dry.
- This quick clean function doesn’t substitute the periodical cleaning of your appliance. It’s important to clean your appliance after each use.
NOTE: We recommend changing the blade every 6 months or as needed.
STORAGE
Do not store blended or unblended ingredients in the cup without removing the
blades.
To store blended or unblended ingredients use the lids included with your
Mix&Go.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM | CAUSES & SOLUTIONS |

Machine stops after a long time processing food. | • This is an overload |
protection to prevent damage to engine.
• Disconnect plug and let motor cool for at least 30 min and plug it back in.
Food is not well processed.| • It can be overloaded by placing too large food
at the same time.
Try a smaller amount.
• For better results, ingredients must be in small pieces.
Food sticks to cup or is difficult to remove
from blades.| • Ingredients may be too large and may block blades. Try cutting
into smaller pieces. For best results, ingredients should be in small pieces.
• Mixture may be too thick. Try to add more liquid.
Food is processed too thin.| • Try to reduce the processing time.
The machine does not start with pulses.| • Make sure to apply even pressure to
the cup to make contact with all 3 tabs simutaneously.
The machine does not start.| • Bring to an authorized service center.
WARRANTY
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights that vary from state to state.
This product is warranted against malfunctions and defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two year for domestic use.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY to any products or parts there of which have
been damaged by tampering, misuse or abuse or which have been altered or
repaired by an unauthorized person or service center.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY the accessories since their life depends upon
the amount of use.
FOR REPAIR The inoperative machine must be delivered with shipping and
delivery charges prepaid together with satisfactory evidence of the purchase
date to the dealer from whom it was purchased or an authorized service center.
Koblenz will either repair or replace, at its election, all defective machines
during the warranty period.
The foregoing obligations are in lieu of all other obligations and liabilities
including negligence and state Koblenz’s entire and exclusive liability and
purchaser’s exclusive remedy. Koblenz will in no event be liable for any
direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses
whatsoever.
Koblenz’s liability under no circumstances will exceed the contract price for
the goods or parts for which liability is claimed.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.
