PnV2 app installation

  • a. Install the free “Provision PnV2” application on your device.
  • b. Open the application “Provision PnV2”.

Service registration

  • a. Click on “Register now”

    b. Input the desired username and password and click on “Submit”.

    • Do not input a previously used name.
    • Password must be between 8-31 characters consisting only of letters and digits.

Add your camera/s

After successful registration to the service, the camera must be plugged in power. Please follow the in-app guide to add the camera.

  • a. Click on the plus icon

  • b. Scan the QR code located at the bottom of the camera.

  • c. Assuming the camera is connected with a network cable, and there is Internet access, the app will immediately recognize It and ask to add it.

  • d. To add the camera, click on “Add it”.

  • e. After the camera is added, the app will return to the main screen, and the camera will be available for viewing by clicking the “ ” button.

  • If the camera is intended for wireless connection (WiFi), do not connect it with a network cable.
    The camera will prompt: “Wireless setup is waiting”. (this installation is not supported by cameras without a build-in microphone).
    After scanning the QR code located at the bottom of the camera, the app will go directly to the wireless setting procedure.

  • a. Accept “The above preparations have been completed” and click “Next”

  • b. The wireless network the smartphone is connected to, will be displayed. Please enter the password of The wireless network and click “OK'”

  • c. A pop-up message will ask you to confirm the password. Click “Confirm” it to continue.

    Note:

  • Make sure that the smartphone is connected to the wireless network to which you want the camera to connect to (SG networks are not supported).

  • Make sure that there are no Bluetooth devices or earphones connected to the smartphone.

  • Make sure the smartphone’s speaker volume is at maximum and within up to 3 meters from the camera.

  • d. The app will start the camera sync process. If everything Is Intact, the camera will prompt:
    Wireless is connecting, please wait”.

  • e. If the camera has synced wirelessly, it will prompt: “Wireless connection success”.
    At this point, you can either wait for the app to finish the binding process or click “Bind directly”: enter the default camera’s password (888888) and click on “Add it”.

  • f. If the process is successful, the app will ask to add the camera. Click on “Add it”.

  • g. After the camera is added, the app will return to the main screen, and the camera will be available for viewing by clicking the” ” button.

Notes:

  • If the process fails, please reset the camera to factory default and repeat the process.
  • If it keeps failing, reset the camera to factory default, connect the network cable, and add the camera. You can set the WiFi connection within the camera settings later.
  • The reset button is located on the bottom of the camera’s eyeball. lift the camera’s lens (please avoid touching the lens itself) all the way up to reveal the SD card slot and the reset button.
  • For camera reset – press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds (until you hear the voice prompt).

Other adding methods

If a “failed to add” message was received while in the wireless configuration, but the camera prompt the “wireless connection success” message, use the following method:

a. After clicking the plus icon to add the camera, click on the “Others” icon at the bottom half of the screen.
b. Since the camera sounded the prompt that the wireless connection was successful, we will search for it on the network by clicking on “LAN installation” even though it is not connected by cable.

At this point, the app will perform a search, and if the camera is found, it will ask to add it.

Other adding methods

Another method is Add manually (for cases where the smartphone isn’t on the same network):

  • a. After clicking the plus icon and the “Others” icon, click on “Manually add”.

  • b. Name -A nickname for the camera, ie: living Room. UID – “Camera ID Number” – is located on the QR code sticker on the bottom of the camera. You can either scan the QR code or add it manually using the keyboard .
    Password – The default password is 888888 and is on the QR code sticker.

Camera sharing

Additional Actions

As the camera owner, you are the administrator and the only one with access to camera settings. You can share the camera with family and friends, but they will only have access to basic camera functions.
The camera cannot be added to other accounts, other than sharing the camera as follows:

  • a. Click on the gear icon to enter the camera settings.
  • b. Click on “Device sharing”.
  • c. Click on “QR code sharing”.
  • A list of the users with whom the camera was shared will appear on this page under “User management”.
  • d. The QR code image should be saved in the smartphone’s photo gallery and sent to users with whom you want to share the camera. Use rs will click on the plus to add a camera, and on the QR code scan page, click on “Album” and select the QR code image.

Cloud storage

  • a. The camera supports cloud storage services. To activate this service, click on the cloud icon on the main screen.
  • b. After selecting the desired plan and activating the service, when the camera detects motion, it immediately records and saves on the cloud. Following the plan selected, these video files are available for viewing even when the camera is stolen.

  • a. If you encounter an issue or have any questions, you can contact technical support using the app. On the home page of the app, click on the “Me” icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • b. On the next screen, click on “Online support”
