PowerDrive & Roll-A-Pro Rolling Door Openers
The PowerDrive & Roll-A-Pro Rolling Door Openers are designed to operate and control the opening and closing of rolling doors. They come with various user operating controls and features such as manual door operation, remote control coding, battery replacement, and smartphone control.

User Operating Controls

  • Button 01: Open / Stop / Close
  • Button 02: Flashes when a code is being stored or when a remote control button is pressed
  • Button 03: Flashes as the door closes and remains on when closed
  • Button 04: Flashes as the door opens and remains on when opened
  • Button 05: Indicates when the opener requires service
  • Button 06: Used for storing or erasing remote control buttons for door operation

Manual Door Operation
To disengage the opener, it is recommended to close the door first. Pull the handle until you hear a click. The door can then be manually operated. Caution: When the opener is manually disengaged, the door is no longer locked. To lock the door manually, re-engage the opener after the door is closed.

Coding a Remote Control
The opener can only be operated from remote controllers that have been programmed into its memory. Up to 64 remotes (8 for Roll-A-Pro) can be programmed.

  • Coding Remote from the Opener:
    1. Switch power on
    2. Remove controls cover
    3. Press and release the “HOLD” button for 3 seconds, then release
    4. Press to test
  • Remotely Coding a Remote Control:
    1. Take a pre-coded remote and press the button to duplicate
    2. Use a pen to hold the middle button through the coding hole for 2 seconds
    3. Opener flashes & beeps
    4. Take the new remote and hold the “HOLD” button for 3 seconds, then release
    5. Opener stops flashing & beeping
    6. Press to test

Changing a Battery
Battery Type: 1 x CR2032

  1. 1. Check Light Status Table:
    • Solid Light: Battery OK
    • Flashing Light: Replace Battery
    • No Light: Replace Battery
  2. Use a screwdriver to remove screws and open the battery compartment
  3. Use a non-metallic object to push the battery out

Warning: The battery is hazardous and must be kept out of reach of children. If swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Smart Phone Control (Requires Smart Hub)
The Smart Phone Control allows you to operate the door remotely using your smartphone via your home’s WiFi network. Before starting, ensure limits are set and the home WiFi router is within range of the opener.

  1. Download the B&D App to your smartphone
  2. Connect the Smart Hub to power

Warning: This device allows for the operation of the door when not in line-of-sight of the door and opener. Do not allow anything to stay in or near the path of the door.

MANUAL DOOR OPERATION

TO DISENGAGE THE OPENER

It is recommended to disengage the door with the door in the closed position.

CAUTION : When the opener is manually disengaged, the door is no longer locked. To lock the door manually, re-engage the pener after the door is closed.

TO ENGAGE THE OPENER

WARNING! Please test the manual release mechanism to ensure that the manual release is easy to operate. No more than 20kg of force should be required to disengage the door using the manual release cord. IF excessive force is required, contact your dealer.

CHANGING A BATTERY

WARNING!: The battery is hazardous and must be kept out of reach of children. The battery can cause severe of fatal injuries within 2 hours or less if swallowed or placed inside any par t of the body. If you suspect the battery has be swallowed or placed inside any par t of the body, SEEK IMMEDIATE medical attention.

SMART PHONE CONTROL

(Requires Smart Hub)
The Smart Phone Control works via your home’s WiFi network. Initial set up involves linking your phone app and smart hub to your home network.

WARNING!: This device allows for operation of the door when not in line- of-sight of the door and opener. The door may operate unexpectedly, therefore do not allow anything to stay in or near the path of the door.

TROUBLESHOOTING
