WARNING: Read this instruction manual carefully before and during installation. This is a safety product that is only safe when used according to the instructions given in this manual.
For the future use of the car seat, it is important that you store this instruction manual in the space provided.
1 .VITAL INFOMATION

Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the baby car seat for the first time .
Incorrect use can endanger the life of your child Never use your baby car seat on a car seat with -
an active front airbag.
2. SUlTABlLlTY
GE-G9091 is a universal child restraint system for groups l, Il, suitable for child weight from 9kg to 36kg.
- This car seat must be installed with the 3-point vehicle belt and the child must be fixed with the 5-point harness on the car seat for group I
- For group Il Ill, the 5-point harness must be removed from the baby car seat ,and using the 3-point vehicle belt to secure the car seat and child.
- This car seat only for vehicles with 3-point belt approved to UN/ECE Regulation NO. 16 or equivalent standards.
3. SAFETY TIPS

Never leave your child unattended in the child restraint system.
-
Making any alterations or additions to the child restraint without the approval of the competent authority is not permitted. Doing so nullifies or impairs its effectiveness in protection. Not following closely the installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer will cause danger to your child.

When the chair is not provided with a textile cover, it shall be recommended that the chair should be kept away from sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child’s skin.

Do not place any heavy items on the rear window shelf; these can become dangerous projectiles in an accident.

Keep the child restraint system out of direct sunlight when the child restraints without using cover, to prevent uncomfortable heating of the surface.

The child restraint must not be used without the cover. The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.

The child restraint system may be used only in seats with three-point restraints compliant with ECE 16 or comparable specifications.

The rigid items and plastic parts of a child restraint must be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of vehicle.

Permit your child to take breaks during longer trips, and be sure that he or she does not step out of the vehicle into traffic unattended.Al ways use the child safety locks in your vehicles passenger doors, if available.

Do not use the child restraint system any further if parts have been damaged or loosened after an accident
(with an impact speed greater than 1 Okm/h) or any other cause. -
Use only the seatbelt only as described by the manufacturer.

We recommend that any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be properly secured.

Ensure any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.

We recommended that the product should be changed when it has been subject to violent stresses in an accident.

Do not use any load bearing contact point other than those described in the instruction and marked in the child restraint system.

We recommended that any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, that any straps restraining the child should be adjusted to the childs body, and that straps should not be twisted.

The instructions can be retained on the child restraint for its life period.
4. SPARE PARTS
5. USAGE OF SPARE PARTS
5.1 Usage of harness adjuster and adjustment of shoulder belt
5.1.1 Regularly, the harness adjuster is locked(Fig 5.01).
So the harness adjust strap only could be pulled outward .
Just pull it outward with one hand, then the shoulder harness can be
tightened.(Fig 5.03).
6. USAGE OF GROUP 1
When used for group I ,child will be secured with its own 5-point harness
system, and child restraint system will be fixed by 3-point vehicle belt. Only
forward facing installation way can be adopted.
6.1 Secure the baby car seat(group I )
6 1 1 Place the baby car seat on the vehicle and secure it with the 3-point
safety belt, being sure that the backrest of baby car seat is well secured.
6.1.2 Pull the vehicle’s safety belt as more as you can.
6.1.3 The vehicle’s lap belt should go right under the armrest
6.1.4 Both the vehicle lap and shoulder belt go through the guiding hole,
cross the backrest ,then come out from another guiding hole (as fig 6.01)
6.1.5 The lap should belt pass under the armrest and the shoulder belt should
lock into the red guiding hook.
6.1.6 Lock the buckle and fasten the vehicle safety belt as fight as you can .
6.1.7 Make sure the seat belt is not twisted.
6.2.4 Place the shoulder pad and harness as in fig 6.03 then lock the buckle
(As in section 5.4.1).
6.2.5 Pull the harness adjuster belt outwards, thus the 5- point safety belt
is tightened. (As 5.1.1)
6.2.6 Check and make sure any part of harness did not twist.
6.3 Remover your child (Group l)
You can remove you child without releasing the vehicle 3-point safety belt.
6.3.1 Release the shoulder harness (as in 5.1.2) ,open the safety buckle ,
take off the shoulder pad and harness from your child’s shoulder , put the
buckle connectors on the two sides of the restraint system. Tum forward the
crotch
6.3.2 Remove your child from the baby car seat .
7. USAGE OF GROUP Il Ill
The 5 point harness system must be removed when used for groups Il and Ill.
Use only the 3-point vehicle safety belt to secure the baby car seat and your
child.
7.1 Remove the 5 point harness system
7.1.1 Loosen the shoulder belt (as 5.1 .2)
7.1.2 Release all of the harness straps, the connectors and fixers (as 5.2 ,
5.3).(for harness connectors and fixers, please check page 4)
7.1.3Pull all ofthe harness straps out ,as well æ safety buckle ,shoulder pad
and crotch pad .Do oppositely ,to install the 5 point harness system.
7.2 Install the child to the baby car seat (Groups li Ill)
7.2.1 Adjust the headrest according to the height of the child’s shoulder.(as
5.5)
7.2.2Place the baby car seat on the vehicle’s seat which is fitted with 3-
point safety belt. Ensure the backrest of baby car seat against the car seat
is well secured.
7 .2.3Place your child in the baby car seat, ensure the child’s back against
the baby car seat is secured.
7.2.4 Pull out the vehicle’s belt as more as you can , thread the lap belt
under the armrests of baby car seat and cross over child’s abdomen. Thread the
shoulder belt through the headrest guiding hook. (æ fig 7.01)
7.2.5 Lock the vehicle’s safety belt .
7.3 Remove the ch i l d (Group 11, Ill)
7 .3.1 Release the vehicle safety belt.
7.3.2 Remove your child from the baby car seat.
8. DAILY CARING INSTRUCTTIONS
8.1 Remove the cover.
8.1.1 Remove the 5-point harness system (as fig 7.1)
8.1.2 Press the backrest down so that it rests flat on the floor .
8.1.3 All seat covers can be removed now.
8.2 Cleaning the cover
Use only neutral detergent and warm water to wash. Do not wash by machine. Spin-dry or tumble -dry are not suggested.
8.3 Care and maintenance
8.3. 1 It is necessary to check the functions and components of the child car
seat according to instructions in order to avoid any accidents.
8.3.2 Make sure you have checked the safety buckle is firmly locked by pulling
it, before use.
8.3.3 Avoid storing the child car seat in wet or cold place or high position
for long time .
9. STEPS TO TAKE AFTER AN ACCIDENT
After an accident with an impact speed greater than 10km/h, the child restraint system must be sent back to the manufacturer, to be checked for possible damage and replaced at no charge if deemed necessary.
