Leica Geosystems iCON iRD3 Drillers and Pilers System
Product Information
The Leica iCON iRD3 is a 3D machine control solution designed for drillers.
It increases performance, accuracy, and safety by eliminating the need for
manual stake-outs. The solution supports the IREDES file format and seamlessly
integrates with the iCON portfolio, including Leica ConX for project data
sharing, project progress monitoring, and as-built documentation. The Leica
iCON iRD3 is built on the same platform, MC1, as other iCON solutions. It has
a simple and intuitive user interface, making it easy to install and set up
for operators. The iRD3 is designed for daily use on rugged worksites, with a
cradle that has onboard memory and a rugged panel suitable for outdoor use.
The key features of the Leica iCON iRD3 include the Autosnap function, which selects the point closest to the tool, and the ability to create drill patterns directly on the panel. It offers several configurations, including body-mounted and tower-mounted antennas, as well as dual total station positioning. The Leica iCON iRD3 also offers direct support for IREDES, KOF, and LandXML data formats. It can integrate with manufacturers’ on-board systems and provides job reports for quality control or payment release.
