E-Z Lift Operating Instructions
-
Choose a spot that is as flat as possible.
-
The lift goes under the car with a hose attachment pointed to the rear.
-
Place Lift on the Ground & position car over lift with a hose to the rear.
-
Try to center lift left to right as close as possible on the frame rails.
-
For starting front to rear alignment put front lift points about 2 inches behind the bend in the frame rail. All cars are different because of the rear percentage make sure car is stable or move lift forward or backward as needed.
-
LEFT SIDE PERCENTAGE Lift should raise both sides of the car evenly, if you see the right side getting ahead of the left side, add 10 lbs air to right side, if more is needed remove 10 lbs from left side repeat as necessary to even out.
-
Grease all pivot points, (requires needlepoint) & spray cylinder pivots with spray lube, also spray cylinder shaft where it enters the cylinder to lube the o-ring.
Repeat as necessary. -
Raise the car, and drop the safety struts down into position. (Don’t forget to raise them back into an upright position before lowering unit)
-
Do not let lift rest on safety struts, they are there only in the event of a hydraulic failure.
-
Do not let the car down on lift with no tires on it, you will have to jack the car up to get the lift to work if you do. The lift needs the suspension active to lift the first few inches.
That’s it, enjoy your E-Z Lift!!
