**

PURPOSE

This primary purpose of this Limited Warranty (Hereinafter “Warranty”) letter is to guarantee products quality, clearly defined matters related to warranty 0policy of Products.

APPLICABLE PRODUCT TYPE

This Warranty Terms applies to YILINK LifePO4 Solar Battery system (hereinafter “Battery”) specify as below:

  • 51.2V100Ah 5.12KWH
  • 48V150Ah 7.2KWH
  • 51.2V150Ah 7.68KWH
  • 48V200Ah 9.6KWH
  • 51.2V200Ah 10.24KWH
• iPower Rack Mounted Solar Battery
  • 48V50Ah 2.4KWH
  • 48V100Ah 4.8KWH
  • 48V200Ah 9.6KWH
  • 51.2V100Ah 5.12KWH
  • 51.2V200Ah 10.24KWH

supplied by Shenzhen YILINK New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “YILINK” or “Seller”) to Buyer.

WARRANTY CONDITION

Limitation of Warranty scope

YILINK’s liability under this Warranty shall be limited to replacement, repair, at YILINK’s sole discretion. Replaced or repaired Battery shall be warranted for the remainder of the original terms of performance Warranty. In any event, the replacement shall not justify the renewal of the Term of Warranty
The Warranty in respect of the Battery only apply if the Battery:

1. is purchased from YILINK or an authorized Resellers;
2. installed by a qualified installer in accordance with the Battery Manuals, Guides, Specification Sheets and APPENDIX 1;
3. installed in accordance with electrical codes and requirements within your jurisdiction;
4. operated and maintained in accordance with the Battery Manuals, Guides, Specification Sheets and APPENDIX 1;
5. be used on a daily cycle basis and only for energy storage system;
6. has the official YILINK serial number.

The warranty would be inapplicable if the defect in or failure of the Battery’s performance is attributable to your misuse, abuse, accident or non- observance of the  Product.

Warranty period

The Warranty for the Battery is valid for 10 years (120 months) from date of initial installation, without exceeding 122 months from the date of manufacturing.

Performance Warranty

YILINK warrants and represents that the Battery retains at least Seventy Percent 70% of Nominal Energy for the either 10 years (120 months) after the date of the installation Or for a minimum Energy Throughput as per the table below, whichever comes first.

The term “Nominal Energy” herein means the initially Nominal Energy of the products as printed on the label of Products.

The precondition of the valid 10 years warranty shall be as follows:

• Operation, installation and maintain in accordance with APPENDIX 1;
• The Energy Throughput is less that the values state in below tables:

Capacity measurement condition:

• Ambient temperature: 25~30 degree
• Initial battery temperature from BMS: 25~30 degree
• Charging/discharging method
• Charge: (0.2) CC/CV (Constant voltage: (53.5) V/ Cut-off current (0.02) C)
• Discharge: (0.2)CC (Cut-off voltage: (40)V)
• Current at (0.2)C, Current and Voltage measurement at Battery DC site

Exclusion of Warranty

This Limited Warranty does not apply to the Battery if Battery have been modified or damaged by the following:

• Fire, flood or acts of god
• Lighting
• Water damage
• Improper shipping and transportation
• Improper installation or removal
• Install, operate or maintain the product contrary to Battery Manuals, Guides, Specification Sheets and APENDIX 1
• Privately disassemble, re-assemble, modify the Battery
• Incidental or consequential damage caused by other components of the power system including but not limited to Inverters, Charge Controllers, Breakers, Bypass Switches, Fuses, etc
• Battery has been connected with different type battery modules
• Normal wear and tear or deterioration, or superficial defects, dents or marks that impact the performance of the Battery.
• Operation in a non-Intended use, or a use which exceeds the recommended or permitted limits
• Any Battery whose serial number has been altered, defaced or remove
• Products failure is not reported to YILINK Authorized Service Partner within 2 weeks of appearance

Obtaining Warranty Service

To obtain Warranty service, Buyer must contact to YILINK’s Technical Team in writing at info@yilink-energy.com as soon as possible after the Battery potential defect appearance. Either YILINK or its authorized representative will attempt to troubleshoot the Battery to determine whether the Battery are defective. To be prepared for Technical Support assistance, Buyer need to provide in writing all the following information (at a minimum):

• Basic information:
  • Battery series number
  • Purchase invoice
  • Installation date and location
  • Photos of the Battery and the overall system installation
• Description of the problem:
  • Events / symptoms leading up to the problem with the Battery
  • Resolutions attempted
• Battery based Inverter, charge information:
  • Inverter brand
  • Inverter series and model
  • Numbers of Inverter (if applicable)
  • Charge controller model
• Battery system monitoring data (if applicable)

YILINK may contact Buyer for further information regarding a potential defect.

If YILINK determines the claim to be In Warranty scope, the defect battery will be repaired or replaced. In the event that a replacement Battery is no longer available in the market, YILINK may replace the Battery with a new product of similar function and performance, although the replacement product may be a different size, appearance or capacity.

If You dispute YILINK’s verification of the claim, the Battery can be evaluated by a certified testing lab approved by both parties under a reasonable test method approved by both parties. You will bear the cost of any 3rd party lab valuation service charge unless your claim is proven to be valid, in which case YILINK will be responsible for the testing charge.

Appendix 1

• For this Warranty to be valid, the battery shall be transport, installed, operation and maintain accordance with the Battery Manuals, Guides, Specification Sheets and clause sate below. Failure to adhere to the Battery Manuals, Guides, Specification Sheets and clause sate below will void your warranty.
• Transportation

Battery shall be transported with the original packing of the Seller, if the original packing is damaged, buyer shall be packed the Battery with seaworthy packing material.
The buyer shall fully consider the potential risk in transportation, such as vibration, drop and collision, and adopt adequate product protection measures.

• Operation

1. Operation Environment
   • Ambient temperature of working: 0~45 degree
   • Working humidity: 5%~85% RH
   • Attitude: <4000m
   • The installation site must be far away from areas with high salt and high humidity
   • The installation site must be far away from the location containing harmful gas
   • The installation site must be far away from the location containing conductive dust
   • The installation site is far away from the location containing flammable and explosive materials
   • The installation site must be far away from locations containing corrosive materials
2. Storage
   Before storing, make sure the Battery SOC is no less than 60%SOC. Insulate and store Battery in clean and dry place. STORAGE TEMPERATURE| RECHARGE FREQUENCY| BATTERY CONDITION

   • The storage site must be far away from areas with high salt and high humidity
   • The storage site must be far away from the location containing harmful gas
   • The storage site must be far away from the location containing conductive dust
   • The storage site is far away from the location containing flammable and explosive materials
   • The storage site must be far away from locations containing corrosive materials
3. In Using
   • Long term continuous discharge should be <= 0.5(C)
   • Long term continuous charge should be <= 0.2(C)
   • The max. DOD of the battery pack shall no more than 80%
   • Never leave the Battery in an empty condition for more than 48Hours
   • Never connect the multiples Battery in series
   • Never connect the Battery with different type of battery
   • Never disassemble the Battery unless approved by YILINK
   • Disconnect the external power supply and turn off the switch when remove or commission needed
   • This Warranty covers a capacity equivalent to 1 full cycle per day for TEN (10) years.
   • Full cycle: Discharge the Nominal Capacity of a fully charged battery and fully charge it afterwards. Micro cycles sum up to full cycles according to amount of energy charged and discharged.
