Installing the Helix Base Plates
INSTALLATION
-
Step 1
Install the correct size Base Plate on your lens by threading on until secure. -
Step 2
Install the Base Plate Defender Cap on your Base Plate to keep your lens protected when no filter is installed by aligning the white lines on the push tabs with the tan lines on the Base Plate. -
Step 3
Once aligned, the Defender Cap will magnetize and snap to the Base Plate. Once seated, rotate the Defender Cap clockwise until it locks into place.
REMOVAL
Step 1
To remove the Defender Cap, simply squeeze the tabs and rotate counter-
clockwise until the push tabs line up with the tan lines on the Base Plate.
Once aligned, continue to depress the tabs and pull to remove.

INSTALLATION

Step 1
First, remove the Rear Defender Cap from the Filter by squeezing the tan Filter push tabs and rotating counter-clockwise until the push tabs line up with the white marks on the Rear Defender Cap. Once aligned, continue to depress the tabs and pull to remove. -
Step 2
Simply align the tan Filter push tabs with the tan lines on the Base Plate. -
Step 3
Once aligned, the Filter will magnetize and snap to the Base Plate. Once seated, rotate the filter clockwise until it locks into place. Follow the same steps above to remove the Front Defender Cap and get shooting!
REMOVAL
Step 1
To remove the Filter from the Base Plate, simply squeeze the tan push tabs and
rotate counter-clockwise until the tabs line up with the tan lines on the Base
Plate. Once aligned, continue to depress the tabs and pull Filter to remove.
