Your appliance is covered by a comprehensive two year Parts & Labour Guarantee. In the unlikely event that you experience a problem with your appliance, you can rest assured that you are fully protected against the cost of repairs for the first 24 months . Please note that any claim must be accompanied by the model reference number, serial number and proof of purchase.
To activate your guarantee, you will need your product serial number. This can be found inside your appliance.

NB: Please make sure that you keep a copy of your original sales invoice as this will be needed if any service call is required.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,  or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • In EN standard countries, this appliance can be used by children from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • The tumble dryer is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning.
  • The lint trap has to be cleaned frequently.
  • Lint must not to be allowed to accumulate around the tumble dryer.
  • Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
  • Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
  • Items such as foam rubber (latex form), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
  • Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by the fabric softener instructions.

Warning!
Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.

  • The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
  • The appliance should not be installed behind a lockable door a sliding door or a door with a hinge.
  • Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to heat sources such as in a tumble dryer. The items become warm, causing an oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation creates heat. If the heat cannot escape, the items can become hot enough to catch fire. Piling, stacking or storing oil-affected items can prevent heat from escaping and so create a fire hazard.
  • The appliance should not be overturned during normal use or maintenance.
  • Remove all objects from pockets such as lighters and matches.
  • For appliances with ventilation openings in the base, a carpet must not obstruct the openings.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • The plug must be accessible after installation.
  • Warning: The appliance must not be connected to an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by a utility.
  • Remove all packaging before using the appliance.Otherwise, serious damage may result.

Correct disposal of this product:
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

  • Power supply and grounding
    The dryer employs alternative current with the rated voltage and frequency. When the voltage fluctuates between 6% of rated voltage, the dryer can work normally. A standard 13A socket outlet should be situated beside the dryer for convenience and safety. The method of connection to the socket is as the diagram shown. If this is not possible then you will have to make improvements as soon as possible according to the rules and suggestions mentioned above.

Warning!
The socket and the grounding wire must be installed by an electrician to prevent incorrect installation or use of the socket and to guarantee the safety of use of electricity. No connection of the grounding wire and the neutral wire is likely to cause the danger of electric shock from the appliance.

  • Precautions
    **** Do not install or store where it will be exposed to temperatures below freezing or exposed to water or weather which could cause permanent damage and invalidate the warranty
    | Keep the area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the accumulation of lint, dust and dirt. An obstructed exhaust will reduce the airflow.

Thoroughly spin the laundry in a washing machine or spin dryer. High spin speed will reduce the drying time and save energy.
| Make sure combustible fumes will not be close to the dryer when it is working. If any gas leaks, do not touch the plug or the start/pause button.

Do not wash or dry articles that have been cleaned in, washed in, soaked in or spotted with combustible or explosive substances
(such as wax, oil, paint, gasoline, degreasers, dry-cleaning solvents, kerosene, etc.).
| Never attempt to operate this appliance if it is damaged, malfunctioning, partially disassembled.or has missing or broken parts,
including a damaged cord or plug.

Do not allow children on or in the appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
| Please do not touch the machine if you have wet hands or feet !

Do not store plastic, paper or clothing that may burn or melt on top of the dryer during operation.
| The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.

Do not dry articles containing rubber, plastic or similar materials such as padded bras, tennis shoes, galoshes, bath mats, rugs, bibs, baby pants, raincoats, plastic bags or pillows that may melt or burn. Some rubber materials, when heated, can under certain
circumstances catch fire by spontaneous combustion
| It is advised to only open the door once the programme is complete and has done its cool down period. To avoid damage to the appliance as well as avoiding any risk of burning or scalding on hot surfaces or
steam do not open the door during the cycle.

INSTALLATION

Installation

  • Installation Position Selection
    Dryer should be placed in a ventilated area with not less than 10cm distance from the wall. It is suggested there are no obstacles within 1.5m in front of dryer to keep the appliance well ventilated.
    !! This appliance is not designed to be used in out buildings, garages or any place where the ambient temperature will drop below 5°C. Due to its use of sensors it will run but not heat therefore clothes will not dry !!

  • Level Adjusting
    Once in its permanent operating position, check that the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a spirit level. If it is not, adjust the feet with a tool.

Note!
If the dryer can’t be placed horizontally (the lean angle is no more than 2°) this may cause the appliance to be unbalanced and stop working.

Notice when installing:

  • Do not install the dryer in the open air (outside) or in a place easily damaged by rain/water.
  • Do not place the back of dryer near curtains.
  • Do not place the dryer near gas appliances, especially when they are in use.

Flex tube fixing:

  • Connect the end of the vent hose with the locating lugs (see below image) into the rear of the dryer and twist clockwise to lock in to place.

  • The other end of flex tube will be extended outside either through an open door/window or vented through a wall. If venting through the wall please refer to the below pictures for the correct positioning of the vent hose.

Before Drying
  1. Before drying, thoroughly spin the laundry in a washing machine. High spin speed can reduce the drying time and save energy.
  2. For uniform drying results, sort the laundry according to fabric type and drying appropriate drying programme.
  3. Before drying, please close zips, hooks and eyelets, button up, tie fabric belts, etc.
  4. Do not over dry the clothes, over drying will tend to cause more creases in the fabric.
  5. Do not dry articles containing rubber or similar elastic materials.
  6. Do not dry any clothes after a dry-clean process.
  7. Clean the lint filter after each use to avoid the extension of drying time and increased energy consumption.

  • Never overload.
  • Not suitable for silk or woollen textiles.
    Please pay attention to the drying guidelines on clothing labels as per the below chart.

Child Lock

To set this function: Press “Standard” and “Quick” simultaneously for 3secafter the programme has been started, then the Child Lock symbol will display. This function can only be set after the machine starts to operate. Once it’s activated, no pressing (except power On/Off key) of any button on the dryer will work. If you want to operate the dryer, please disable the Child Lock first. To cancel the child lock repeat the same procedure and the symbol will go out.

Note!

  • Clean the cabinet and inner drum on a regular basis.
  • Clean the filter when the” Filter” light is flashing, after the end of every cycle when the dryer has stopped.
  • This symbol means the energy efficiency test programme “standard cotton programme”, which is most suitable to dry normal cotton load at rated load capacity.

MAINTENANCES

Cleaning And Care

Filter clean

  • Clean the lint filter after each use.
  • Remove the filter by pulling straight up.
  • Gently open the filter taking care not to break it.
  • Remove the lint by hand or with a damp cloth.
  • Once cleaned and thoroughly dry close the filter and refit in to the dryer.

Cleaning cabinet and inner drum

  • Use a soh damp cloth when cleaning the cabinet and inner drum.
  • Do not rinse any surfaces with water.
  • Do not use any scouring pads or harsh cleaning products..
  • Do not use any chemicals or alcohol wipes when cleaning the dryer
  • Make sure to open the front door for aeration after cleaning the inner drum.
Troubleshooting

Will not start/dry • Power cut.

• The power plug is not plugged in correctly

• Check the socket/plug is not damaged and the plug is correctly fitted.
• The clothes in the dryer after being spun must not exceed 3kg.
Appliance is hot to touch| • The lint filter is dirty/clogged.
• The exhaust duct is dirty/trapped or kinked.| • Make sure to clean the lint filter after every use.
• Clean out the rear vent/vent hose regularly.
Clothes are too dry/hot to touch| • The drum is overloaded
• Clothes removed before the programme has finished.
• Use of the incorrect programme.
• Temperature is too high.| • Make sure the drum is not overloaded and the clothes have room to move around freely.
• Do not remove clothes before the programme has finished as they will not have completed a cool down cycle.
• Observe the maintenance label on clothes
• Use the correct programme for the fabric being dried.
Clothes shrinking| • Too dry.| • Observe the maintenance label on clothes. If the fabric is liable to shrink, use a delicate programme and remove the clothes while slightly damp and hang up until fully dry. Make sure to leave the door open to allow the dryer to cool down after removing the items.
Hairball on clothes| • It is normal for synthetic fibre and permanent press fibre to cause hairballs.This is due to the fabrics rubbing during the programme.| • Use fabric softener sheets to lubricate fibres. Dry clothes inside out to help reduce the bobbling effect.

Remarks:

  • Cost of Call-out where a fault cannot be found with the appliance.
