Naming

Immediately after you reveal your Mixie from the Lamp;

  1. Hold down its belly.
  2. When its Gem flashes white, say your Mixie’s name and it will repeat it back to you.

Note: To rename your Mixie turn it OFF and back ON again.

Mixie Modes

Your Genie Magic Mixie has different modes.

Enter each by doing the following:

Play Mode
Touch belly quickly.

Wish Granting Mode
Tap the back of the Ring to the Mixie’s Gem.

Chat Mode
Speak clearly in front of your Mixie.

Play Mode

  • Touch your Mixie’s belly quickly to get a range of responses while its gem lights up!
  • Your Mixie will make funny sounds and cast spells!

Wish Granting Mode

  1. Tap the back of the Ring against your Mixie’s Gem. Your Mixie will ask you to make a wish.
  2. Tell your Mixie your wish.
  • Mixie’s Gem lights up green:
    Your wish has been granted!

  • Mixie’s Gem lights up red:

Chat Mode

Speak clearly in front of your Mixie and it will respond to you in its own Mixie language!

  • Speak for a short time, your Mixie will give a short response.
  • Talk for longer, your Mixie will give you a longer response.

Note:
If you have just revealed your Mixie from the Lamp or pressed its tail, you will need to activate “Wish Granting Mode” or “Play Mode” first before unlocking “Chat Mode”.

Balancing Act

Balance your Mixie on the Spout of the Lamp!
Make sure the Lamp is sitting on a flat surface.

Sleeping

  • When you leave your Mixie alone, it will call out for attention.
  • Eventually, it will become tired and fall asleep.
  • If you press its tail in, it will also go into Sleep Mode.

You can wake your Mixie up at any time by:

  • Pushing its tail all the way in and releasing it back out.

CLEANING

Keeping my Genie Magic Mixie clean:

  • After repeated play, your Mixie may develop some dirt/marks on its soft surface. Gently brush with a clean cloth or soft brush and wipe off dirt. Do not use any chemicals or detergents.
  • Your Magic Mixie contains internal electronics.
  • Do not immerse the product in water.

Battery Replacement

BATTERIES- MAGIC MIXIE

3x AG13 (LR44)
BATTERIES INCLUDED. REPLACEMENT BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, works best with fresh batteries.

Replace with 3x AG13 (LR44) batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Cross cross-head screwdriver (not included) is needed to replace the batteries.

  • Batteries should be replaced by an adult and inserted observing correct polarity.
  • Always check to ensure the compartment lid is correctly sealed and secured before giving the toy to the child.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the product.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Remove batteries from the product before long-term storage.
  • Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.

Genie Lamp Sleep Mode

The Genie Lamp may enter a sleep state, this will occur:

  • After 15 minutes of no activity in “Create Mode” or “Free Play Mode”
  • At the completion of “Create Mode”

To reactivate functions and resume play from the beginning, either:

  • Move switch to “OFF”, then back to “Create Mode” or “Free Play Mode”

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/SUPERVISORS

This product produces mist which will have a significant fog-like effect. It creates a mild odor as the material is heated to produce the mist. Please be assured it has been extensively tested and has been assessed by multiple independent, certified child-safety specialists ensuring there are no potential health and safety risks.

  • To generate the mist effect, we have used Vegetable Gylcerin which is safe for human consumption. It does not contai.n any an.im al by-prod u cts or h azar do us chemicals additives.
  • If you have concerns regarding this feature or if your child suffers from respiratory issues, please scan the QR code for further information before activating the toy.

Free Play Mode

Play with the Lamp once your Mixie has been released!

If you want to make the Lamp mist and play a magical song, pour the Lamp towards the Spout and shake it side to side until the Front Gem flashes green.

Then rub the Magic Stars until you hear the “ding” sound.

Hide your Mixie or other toys in 1he Lamp and only you can open it!

To reveal, follow one of 1he special instructions:

Follow the step on the previous page to make the Lamp play a song and mist. Only when the Front Gem flashes white, turn the Dial to the whtte gem and open the lid.

Press the Front Gem but only when you see it light up white! You will then be able to open the lid by turning the Dial to the white gem.

Repeat Play

RESET TO REVEAL YOUR MAGIC MIXIE AGAIN

  1. Ensure the third lid is open. If not, it can be opened by following the unlocking instructions on the “Free Play Mode” page.
  2. Place your Mixie inside the bottom compartment ensuring its arms are tucked in close to its body.
  3. Push your Mixie down into the Lamp and then close the lid.
  4. You can also place your Ring back into the Lamp:
    • Turn the Dial to the blue gem. Open the lid and put the Magic Ring inside.
    • Turn the Dial to the orange gem. Open the lid and put the Magic Gem inside.
  5. Once all the lids are closed, switch to “Create Mode” to start the reveal process again!

RESET TO REVEAL YOUR OWN TOY

  1. Ensure the third lid is open. If not, it can be opened by following the unlocking instructions on the “Free Play Mode” page.
  2. Remove the Holder from the Lamp by pulling it upwards.
  3. Place your own toys inside. Ensure your toy isn’t too big to sit on the platform. This could stop your Lamp from functioning. Your toy should be no bigger than the Magic Mixie.
  4. Push the toy down into the Lamp and close the lid.
  5. Once all the lids are closed, switch to “Create Mode” to start the reveal process again!

Refiiling your Magic Genie Lamp

MIST REFILL
After using your Genie Lamp multiple times, the mist effect may be reduced. You can create more mist by refilling.

  1. Undo the lid on the Refill Vial* and locate the cross-shaped hole behind the lid of the Genie Lamp.
  2. Place the end of the Refill Vial in the hole until it stops and gently squeeze 3 times.
    • Do not overfill.
    • Each Refill Vial is intended for multiple uses – do not transfer all contents to the Genie Lamp in a single refill.
    • Wipe up any spills with a paper towel.
  3. Remove the Refill Vial and seal it with the lid.

Troubleshooting

MAGIC GENIE LAMP ERRORS
In “Create Mode”, the Front Gem light will indicate if the Lamp is waiting for your input, or if there’s an error preventing you from playing:

  • Green – Waiting for you to either press the Front Gem button or rub the Magic Stars on the front of the Lamp.
  • Red – Low batteries in the Lamp. Refer to the “Batteries” page of this manual.

LAMP LID OVERRIDE
If you are unable to open the lid during the normal play pattern:

  1. Turn the Dial to the white gem.
  2. Locate the Lid Latch Hole on the front of the Lamp and ask an adult to push a paper clip into the hole.
  3. While pushing the paper clip, pull open the lid.
CLEANING

Keeping my Magic Genie Lamp clean:

  • After play, the Lamp may form a residue from the mist in some areas.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth or paper towel on the outer surface only.
  • Magic Genie Lamp contains internal electronics.
  • Do not fill or immerse product in water.
