Awntech Heavy-Duty Retractable Awning + Protective Hood

Product Information

The Retractable Awnings offered by our company are available in various models including Maui, Destin, Galveston, Hampton, and California. These awnings provide shade and protection from the sun and are designed for outdoor use.

Measuring Guide:
Awnings have different dimensions and require specific measurements to ensure proper installation. The following measurements should be taken into consideration:

  • Awning Width (A): Measure the length of the wall space where you plan to install the awning. Choose from one of our standard widths available.
  • Minimum Clearance (B): Ensure you have a minimum of 10 inches of clear horizontal mounting space. This clearance should be free from any obstructions for the full length of the awning.
  • Awning to Floor (C): Maintain a minimum height of 80 inches from the floor to the bottom of the awning. Ideally, the height should be 8 feet (96 inches).
  • Projection (D): Measure the distance available to you from the wall to the end of your awning. This determines how far the awning extends when fully open.
  • Valance Height: The valance height is set at 10 inches.
  • Valance Style: The awnings come with Sahara-style valance.
  • Adjustable Pitch: The front bar of the awning can be adjusted from a zero pitch to a 24 pitch (0-15 degrees) for optimal shading and water runoff.
