USER MANUAL

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Use the fan only for purposes described in the instruction manual.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose
- Always use the appliance on dry, level surface.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the fan, plug or cord in water or any other liquid or spray with liquids.
- Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off.
- The protective grills are to prevent direct access to moving parts when the fan is in use Avoid contact with any moving parts.
- CAUTION: To avoid injury, do not insert your fingers between the grilles when the appliance is plugged in or when it is turned on.

- Do not use the appliance in bathroom, swimming pool or in rooms with high humidity level or in dusty areas.
- To disconnect from the electrical supply, grip the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT pull on the cord.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

- Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.
- Batteries can leak and lose battery acid. If the remote control is not used for a long period of time, remove the batteries.

ASSEMBLY
1. Loosen the screw on the base by turning it counterclockwise from the base pipe, remove it and insert the base pipe into the base.
2. Then secure base pipe by turning the base screw clockwise to the bottom of the base using the base washer and the base tightening ring.
3. Loosen the lock regulator of the base pipe, pull the inner tube out, and
then tighten again. When you have completed the assembly of the base of the
fan to the base pipe place the appliance on a flat surface.
4. Loosen the locking regulator located on the small motor shaft and then
align the small motor shaft with the socket on the wooden inner tube. Turn the
locking regulator until it locks into place.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that the fan is fully assembled (and that the protective grilles are in place and locked) before switching on the appliance.
- Make sure the motor is properly locked in place and there is no risk of it slipping out of use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Set the fan on a dry, level surface.
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply of your appliance corresponds exactly to the voltage of your electrical installation.
- Press ON/OFF button to turn on the fan. To turn the fan off, press ON/OFF button again.
- Stand fan has 3 operating speeds:
- Low (L)
- Medium (M)
- High (H)
Select the desired operating speed by pressing the “SPEED” button on the fan control panel or remote control. As you select the desired operating speed, the corresponding indicator light on the appliance control panel will illuminate.
TIMER
The timer can be set to turn off the fan for a certain period of time. Press
the TIMER button on the fan control panel or remote control to set the timer.
With each press of TIMER the time setting increases by one hour e.g. If you
press the TIMER button three times, the 1H and 21-I indicator lights will
light up and the fan will run for three hours. When the fan stops running and
shuts off, the previous timer setting will be lost.
SWING MODE
To start and stop oscillation of the fan head, press SWING button on the fan
control panel or on the remote control. Press SWING button again to stop
oscillation function.
NOTE: All fan functions can be selected either from the remote control or
by pressing the buttons on the control panel of the fan.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Follow these instructions to take care of your fan properly and safely.
- Always disconnect the fan from the power supply before cleaning or assembling.
- Do not immerse or pour water directly onto the appliance. Risk of electric shock and fire!
- Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
- Use a soft cloth dampened with a mild soap solution to clean it.
- Do not use hard, abrasive or corrosive detergents or solvents to clean the appliance or any of the following as a cleaner: benzene, thinners or benzene.
- To clean the fan blades, disconnect the front from the rear guard by unscrewing the screws around the perimeter of the rear guard. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the blades, then join the two protective grids and tighten all the screws until they lock in place.
CAUTION: Make sure the fan is fully assembled before using the fan again
FAN STORAGE
Your fan can be stored partially disassembled or reassembled.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before storing the device.
- Make sure the appliance is cold and dry before storage.
- Always store the appliance away from children.
- Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the best protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
RECYCLING
The symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of as waste, but should be sent to special collection facilities for recovery and recycling. Do not dispose of the appliance in ordinary bins but only on electrical appliances selected for disposal. Contact your local provider for availability. Improper disposal of electrical appliances can cause contamination of the aquifer and subsequent contamination of the food chain causing health problems.
