Dulux SPLASHBACK Renovation Range Tiles and Benchtops
Product Information
The Dulux Renovation Range Splashback is a three-step system designed to
transform and protect your tiles and benchtops. It includes a primer, topcoat,
and clear coat for a durable and long-lasting finish. The range offers a
variety of colors,
including the popular Dulux Cardrona shade. The clear coat is available in
both satin and gloss finishes to suit your preference. The product is easy to
use and provides a smooth, consistent finish.
Product Usage Instructions
- Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean and free from grease and dirt. Use a mild cleaning detergent and avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Mixing: For both the primer and topcoat, add all of the additive underneath each lid to each product. Stir well for approximately 2-5 minutes using a broad flat paddle until the additive is completely mixed into the paint. The mixed product can be used for up to 10 days.
- Application – Primer: Apply 1 coat of Dulux Renovation Range Primer to the surface following the instructions on the pack. Allow it to fully dry for 8 hours before proceeding.
- Application – Topcoat: Use a quality angled sash cutter brush to cut in around edges. Then, coat the surface using a 4mm nap 100mm wide microfibre roller. Once each section is coated, gently go over the surface in the same direction with an unloaded roller using minimal pressure to achieve a smooth finish.
- Application – Clear Coat: For benchtop and splashback areas, apply Dulux Renovation Range Clear Coat as the final coating. This will provide added protection to the topcoat. Choose between satin and gloss finishes based on your preference.
- Additional Steps: Sand the surface and scrub the tiles before starting the application process. These steps ensure a clean and properly prepared surface for optimal adhesion.
- For More Information: Visit the Dulux website for full use instructions, data sheets, application tips, and FAQs. You can also contact the customer support team via phone or online chat for help and advice.
Note : The Dulux Renovation Range Floor product does not require a clear coat as it may affect the non-slip performance.

Sand glossy and semi gloss finishes to a dull flat finish using p400 paper before coating.
-
Use a clean damp cloth to remove any dust.
