P6 Handheld – Usage Instructions
To use the P6 Handheld, follow these instructions:
- Ensure that the device is fully charged before use.
- Press and hold the power button to turn on the device.
- Use the touch panel to navigate through the device’s interface.
- If you need to operate the device with gloves or wet hands, the capacitive screen supports this functionality.
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network by going to the device settings and selecting the desired network.
- If you need to use a SIM card, insert it into the device’s SIM card slot. The device supports dual SIM and dual standby functionality.
- To establish a network connection, ensure that the device has a valid network signal.
- For Bluetooth connectivity, enable Bluetooth in the device settings and pair the device with other compatible devices.
- The P6 Handheld also supports USB connectivity via the Type C USB port. It also supports OTG functionality.
- Use the external interface to connect to Ntrip for GNSS positioning.
- The device’s GNSS specifications allow for high-precision positioning. It supports various satellite systems such as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS, and IRNSS.
- The P6 Handheld is equipped with various sensors including NFC, G Sensor, Magnetometer, and Light Sensor.
- The device is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating. It can survive a drop from a height of 1.8 meters.
- Ensure that the device is stored in a suitable environment with a temperature range that complies with the specified storage temperature.
- The P6 Handheld is compatible with common third-party GIS software such as ArcGIS Collector, Mapit GIS, and FieldGenius Android. It also comes with SinoGNSS High-Precision configuration software and SinoGNSS Survey Master field software.
