Radio Usage
Charging
To avoid any damages on the charger meanwhile following the guarantee
articles, it must use the attached charger to charge the battery. Please
putthe battery solo or the battery with radio in the charger base to charge.

Battery Installation and Remove
Align the battery with the aluminum housing and press down on the battery;
Please turn off the radio before removing the battery, then press the battery
lock-latch to remove the battery.
Antenna Installation
Clockwise rotate the antenna into the connector on the top of the radio
untilitis tight.
Belt Clip Installation and Remove
Using 2 screws to lock the belt clip on the back of the radio until itis
tight; unscrew it If need to remove the belt clip.
External Speaker /Microphone Installation
Connect the speaker /microphone to the SP/MIC hole.
Product Operation
User model
Power on/off
Turn the Volume / Power knob clockwise to turn the radio on. Some radio is
programmed to have a prompt tone when is turned on. After power on, the radio
will stay on the receiving state. Turn the Volume / Power knob counter
clockwise to turn the radio off, a tone will be heard when the radio is
turning off.
Switching Channels
Rotate [Channel knob] to switch channel. If programmed the “Channel
Announcement”, the channel number will be heard, if the noisy is heard after
switching the channel, means the current channel is not programmed, cannot be
used
Communication
Switch the channel to the required channel Transmitting: Press and hole the
PTT key and talk, release the PTT when finish talking. Receiving: When the
signal comes in, the LED indicator will be green, audio comes out from the
radio Mic. Switch the volume know to adjust the volume.

Advanced Wireless Communications(AWC) Product Quality warranty and Liability
The warranty period of this product starts from the day when the customer receive the product.
- 12-month warranty on the radio solo, 6-month warranty on the accessories
- 1n the warranty period, the related labels cannot be teared up. The warranty policy does not include the following conditions: Defects or damages caused by working in abnormal or unusual situations.
- Defects or damages caused by misuse, accident or water submersion. Defects or damages caused by unauthorized repair or adjustment. Warranty does not extend to cosmetic scratches or damages as a result of normal use or misuse.

Functions
This radio has the following functions available. Please refer to the “Call” for the private call, group call and analog call operation. Other functions need to be programmed by the dealer. [SK] is short-cut key, contact to your dealer for more details.

Vox| When the microphone detects that the voice meets the terminal
transmission conditions, the terminal will automatically transmit. This
function needs to be used in conjunction with a headset with voice control
function.
Busychannel lock| Busy channel lock is to lock the channel which is
transmitting to prevent interference from other users
TX time-out| The timeout prohibition is when the transmission time is exceeded
(default 60s), the terminal will automatically terminate the transmission and
send a warning tone.If need to talk again, please transmit after the preset
time.
Battery save| When the terminal standby reaches the power saving time it will
automatically enter the power saving mode.
Digital function| Individual call| A single call made by one user to another
Group call| Allows a user to call multiple units that are on the same talk
group.
All call| Allows a user to call all users.
One touch access call| Allows to make a private call or call multiple units by
a short-cut key.
TDMA direct mode| Allows to divide the digital channel into two alternating
time slots.
Analog function| Analog channel call| Is one-to•many call on the current
analog channel
Squelch on| Means the speaker is always on with or without carrier
Squelch level| Adjust the signal intensity required to receive the signal. The
squelch level are: low, normal, high. If set to low the noise is light, if
high, the noise is deep.
Monitor| Monitoring is not distinguish signaling, Voice is received as long as
the carrier matches.
CTCSS/CDCSS| You can receive the voice through the loudspeaker only when the
received sub-tone matches the transmitted sub-tone.

This manual provide you with safe and ease instruction for our Advanced Wireless Communications(AWC) portable two-way radio.
WARNING
Operation and Electromagnetic Exposure Press PTT, hold the radio in a vertical position from 2.5 to 5.0cm (1o 2 inches) away from lips. Insure that the antenna is at least 2.5 cm away from your head and body when transmitting.
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibly (EMC)
All electronic devices are subject to and may be affected by EMI unless
proper compatibility design and testing have been accomplished. Radios should
be powered off if unsure of EMI/ EMC effects. Radios should be powered off
aboard aircraft and the user shall adhere to the any and all airline
requirements for RF emitters.
Operation warning
Radios including mobiles and portables shall not be mounted permanently or
temporarily in areas of vehicles that use air bag safety restraint systems.
Placing devices on or near air bags during deployment pose a safety hazard to
the occupants of the vehicle.
Environment with explosion risk
Radios shall be powered off when in environments that pose an explosion risk
unless the radio has received FM or Cenelec approval with certificate. In such
environments, a small spark may lead to an explosion, fire, damage and death

Operation instruction Damaged antenna
Damaged antennas shall be replaced. Exposure to the metallic portions of a
damaged antenna can lead to burns.
Battery Batteries shall not be changed or charged in explosive risk environments. Minor flames and / or sparks can lead to a explosion Any metal conductor, such as jewelry or keys, touching the battery contacts may lead to a short circuit condition that may resulting a fire or burn. Care should be exercised to insure that the battery contacts are not allowed to touch other objects.
Radio’s maintenance
- Chemicals such as alcohol, cleaning fluids, and petroleum based products will damage the radio surfaces. 2. Do not pick up the radio using the antenna or purposely stress the housing and belt clip.
- Please close the dust proof cover to protect the Microphone/speaker jack while not using accessory.
- Clean the surface of the radio with only a damp cloth using water. Insure that none of the water enters the radio case.
- Unrecognized accessories may damage the radio and in this case our warranty will be unavailable.
