CARBA TEC RL-101 Roller Ball Pen
RL-1O1 ROLLER BALL PEN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT NOTE : Ensure wooden sleeves are turned before starting assembly of pen.
TIMBER BLANKS (NOT SUPPLIED)
Should be approx. “‘a 17mm square section, the length the same as the brass
tubes. To make the required wooden parts, drill a 10mm hole down the centre of
each of the wooden blanks. Glue the two brass tubes inside each blank. Using a
pen mandrel and suitable spacers, (available from Carma-Tec) turn the blanks
down to approx. 11.3mm in a lathe. File away timber from the top of the pen
top wood/brass section, as shown at right, to admit the top of the clip and
allow for a flush fit.
ASSEMBLY
Force a threaded coupling into each end one of the wood/brass sleeves.
Screw the cap into one end. Insert the spring (large end first) and the roller
ball refill and screw in the tip. Screw the plastic pen top retainer into l ;
