Product Information

The Mineral Deficiency Test is a kit designed to help you determine if you have any mineral deficiencies in your body. It contains all the necessary materials for collecting a blood sample
and sending it to the laboratory for analysis. The test kit includes:

  • 2 plasters
  • 1 swab
  • 1 alcohol wipe
  • 1 transport tube with absorbent felt
  • 2 lancets
  • 1 blood collection tube
  • 1 return carton
  • 1 adhesive point
  • 1 test-ID card with sticker

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before you begin, make sure you fulfill all the conditions for sample taking. Read the information and tips section carefully.

  2. Place all the contents of the test kit on a clean surface.

  3. Select a spot for the prick. The middle or ring finger of the left hand usually works best.

  4. Open the blood collection tube and place it on a flat surface, ensuring it cannot fall over.

  5. Wash your hands with soap and warm water. Hold your preferred hand under warm water for at least 15 seconds to stimulate blood circulation. Dry your hand carefully with a clean towel.

  6. Swing your preferred arm around in a circle 5 to 10 times to stimulate blood circulation.

  7. Remove the alcohol wipe from its film and use it to disinfect the tip of the preferred finger. Wait until the finger is dry again.

  8. Take the lancet and carefully remove the protective cover. Ensure the lancet is not loose or missing its cover.

  9. Place your hand on a firm surface and position the lancet diagonally on the tip of your finger. Press the lancet firmly against the finger until it releases.
CAUTION: The lancet can only be released once!

  10. Press the thumb of your other hand below the sampling spot and pull back on the skin slightly.

  11. Stand up and hold your hand below the heart to encourage blood flow. Gently massage your finger from the palm of your hand to your fingertip until a drop of blood forms.

  12. Use the swab (NOT the alcohol wipe) to wipe off the first drop of blood. Wait until a big drop has formed again.

  13. Hold your finger diagonally at the edge of the upright blood collection tube so that the blood can run into it. Continue massaging your finger to keep the blood flow going.

  14. Only stop collecting the sample when the blood volume reaches the 300µl mark. Tap the tube gently against a table to ensure the blood runs downwards.

  15. After taking the blood, use the swab and plaster to clean and cover the wound.

  16. Close the tube by firmly pressing the cap onto the opening until it clicks into place. Shake the tube well.
