Product Usage Instructions

- If the appliance does not charge, check the charger connection and make sure it is properly connected to the appliance and the wall outlet.
- If the appliance stops during operation or the light flashes, it may indicate a fault with the battery or charger. Check the connections and contact customer services or an Approved Service Center if needed.
- For safety, follow the safety instructions provided in the user manual. Keep body parts away from moving parts and avoid using the appliance near water or flammable substances.

Children must not play with the appliance. Children should not clean or perform maintenance on the appliance unless they are supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its detachable power unit out of the reach of children under 8 years old.
For other countries not subject to EU regulations:
- This appliance is not designed for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by people with no prior knowledge or experience, unless they are supervised by or have had previous instructions relating to the use of the appliance from a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
USE
- This appliance has been designed for indoor domestic use only.
- Your product is an electrical appliance; it should be used in normal operating conditions.
- Do not use this appliance to vacuum liquids.
- This appliance is intended for use on hard floors. Do not use on carpets, rugs, walls, windows or ceilings.
- Do not use your appliance on delicate floor surfaces or floor surfaces that may be damaged by water. We recommend that you check the instructions for use along with any precautions provided by the floor manufacturer. You should also test the appliance on an inconspicuous area before you begin cleaning.
- Do not use the product without the mops. The blue and grey mops must always be dampened slightly before using mode.
- Do not vacuum large items of debris that may clog and damage the air inlet.
- Do not use your appliance without a motor protection filter.
- The normal operating speed can be used to clean any type of hard floor.
- The «BOOST» speed, which can be enabled by pressing the button on the handle, is used to increase the cleaning performance for heavily soiled floors. Note: If the cleaning head stops during use, this may mean that there is too much friction between the mops and the floor. If this happens, return to normal speed by releasing the «BOOST» button.

- WARNING: To recharge the battery, please use only the detachable power unit and the battery included with the appliance (page 125).
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate of your appliance’s charger is the same as your power supply voltage. Any connection error could cause irreversible damage to the product and invalidate the guarantee.
- The device should be charged on its base after use so that it is always available with a charged battery.
- It is best to unplug the charger from the outlet in the event of prolonged absence (holidays etc.). In this case, there may be a reduction in the operating time because of self-discharging.
SAFETY
Do not vacuum water or any type of liquids, hot substances, ultra-fine substances (plaster, cement, ashes etc.), large sharp items of debris (glass), hazardous products (solvents, abrasives etc.), harsh chemicals (acids, cleaning products etc.) or inflammable or explosive products (oil or alcohol based). Stop using your product immediately if there is any liquid in the dust container.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or spray it with water.
- Do not use water with a temperature of over 50°C to fill the tank.
- Do not put foaming, toxic, irritating, flammable, explosive, corrosive, solid or floor wax products in the water tank.
- You are responsible for adding household detergents to the water tank. Follow the recommendations for use provided by the detergent manufacturer and do not mix several products in the tank.
- Essential oils may have unwanted effects. You are solely responsible for their use and Rowenta accepts no responsibility in this regard. Read the instructions provided with the bottles of essential oils carefully before use to check whether they can be used with the appliance. Strictly follow the recommendations for use as stated in the instructions for any essential oils, particularly if people with allergies, asthma, lung disease or chronic disease may be affected, and in the presence of pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 8 years old, or people with epilepsy or a history of convulsive disorders.
- Do not use distilled water, condensation water from tumble dryers, scented water or water from air conditioning or similar systems in the tank.
- Do not put liquid in the dust container of your product.
- Do not use your appliance if the water tank is leaking.
- Check that the cleaning head and mops are securely attached to the product before each use.
- This appliance makes floors wet and they may become slippery as a result.
- Do not use the appliance barefoot, or while wearing flip flops or open-toed shoes.
- Do not remove or carry the water tank cap using your mouth.
- Keep the appliance away from children.
- The cord or the external flexible cord of this transformer cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged or does not work, the transformer must be discarded. Do not use a removable power pack other than the model supplied by the manufacturer and contact customer services or your nearest Approved Service Centre (use of a universal removable power pack invalidates the guarantee).
- If the pins of the plug parts are damaged, the power pack must be discarded.
- Never pull on the electric cord to disconnect the detachable power unit.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, your fingers, eyes, mouth, ears and other body parts away from the openings and moving parts of the appliance, especially the cleaning head.
- Do not touch any rotating parts without switching off the product and removing the battery.
- Do not direct the appliance towards people, animals, chemical substances, electrical appliances or electrical outlets.
- Always switch off the appliance before attaching or removing the cleaning head.
- Do not store the appliance outdoors.
- Do not expose the appliance to temperatures of less than 0°C or above 50°C.
BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance contains batteries (Lithium Ion) which for safety reasons are only accessible by a professional repairer.
- When the battery is no longer able to hold the charge, the battery pack (Lithium Ion) should be removed. To replace the batteries, contact your nearest Approved Service Centre.
- The batteries must be handled with care. Do not put batteries in your mouth. You must take care not to create short circuits in the batteries by inserting metal objects at their ends. If a short circuit occurs, the battery temperature may rise dangerously and can cause serious burns or even catch fire. If the batteries leak, in the event of contact, do not rub your eyes or any mucous membranes. Wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clean water. If the discomfort persists, consult your doctor.
- WARNING: The battery used in this appliance may present risk of fire or chemical burn if used incorrectly. It should not be disassembled, short-circuited, stored at temperatures below 0°C or above 50°C, or incinerated. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not disassemble it or throw it in fire.
- If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, the battery must be removed.
- The battery must be removed from the appliance before the appliance is discarded.
MAINTENANCE/STORAGE/AFTERSALES SERVICE
- Remove the mops before storing your device on its base.
- Do not put the water tank, dust container or product filter in the dishwasher.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive materials/tools to clean the water outlet nozzles.
- Do not store the product at height.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped and there is visible damage to it, or if it fails to function normally. In this case, do not open the appliance, but send it to your nearest
- Approved Service Centre, as special tools are required to carry out any repairs safely.
- Repairs must only be carried out by specialists using original spare parts. It may be dangerous for users to try to repair appliances themselves. Use only guaranteed original accessories (filters, batteries, mops etc.).
- Switch off the product and remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning.
ENVIRONMENT
In accordance with existing regulations, any end-of-life appliances must be taken to an Approved Service Centre, which will take responsibility for managing their disposal.
Help protect the environment
- Your appliance has been designed to operate for many years. However, when you do decide to replace it, remember to consider how you can help protect the environment by allowing it to be reused, recycled or recovered in another way. Waste electrical and electronic equipment may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment and human health.
- This label indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste. Take it to a collection point, to the retailer when purchasing a new, equivalent product or to an Approved Service Centre for processing.
- Before disposing of the appliance, remove the battery and dispose of it in accordance with local laws and regulations. If you have any questions, please contact your product dealer who will be able to advise you on what to do.
