To Install Drivers:

  1. Close all other running applications.
    Users can download adapter drivers online by visiting: www.noregon.com /adapter-drivers and clicking the “Instructions and Driver Download” button from the Trailer

  2. Diagnostic Adapter section on the adapter drivers landing page. Once the download is complete, launch the installer and follow the prompts.

  3. Connect the 7-pin end of the J560 T-Connector Cable (P/N: 32111) to the trailer.

  4. Connect the other end of the J560 T-Connector Cable (P/N: 32111) to the Trailer Diagnostic Adapter.
    To Power your Trailer Diagnostic Adapter

  5. A) If powering the Trailer Diagnostic Adapter from the truck:
    1. Connect the Tractor’s 7-pin connector to the male end of the J560 T-Connector Cable.
    2. Turn on the ignition.
    B) If powering the Trailer Diagnostic Adapter from a battery: OR
    1. Connect the male end of the J560 T-Connector Cable to the female end of the J560 Power Adapter Cable (PN: 121003).
    2. Connect the Black (-) Power Adapter alligator clip to the Negative (-) battery terminal & connect the Red (+) Power Adapter alligator clip to the Positive (+) battery terminal.

  6. Connect the USB cable to the “Computer” port on the Trailer Diagnostic Adapter.

  7. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on the PC.

  8. Installing Hardware If you are using Windows 7 or newer:
    a. Windows will automatically connect to the adapter. You may see an update message in the systems icons section of the taskbar.
    b. You are now ready to use your adapter!
