Product Information
The product is a shower system with the following models: Metris Classic 31000XXX / 31003XXX and Metris S 31162000 / 31163000. The product comes with safety notes, installation instructions, technical data, and spare parts. The operating pressure for the shower system is a maximum of 1 MPa, and the recommended operating pressure is 1.6 MPa. The hot water temperature is adjustable with a hot water limiter symbol described on page 33. The product also comes with dimensions, a flow diagram, and cleaning instructions.
Product Usage Instructions
When installing the product, it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent crushing and cutting injuries. The shower system should only be used for bathing, hygienic and body cleansing purposes. The hot and cold supplies must be of equal pressures to prevent issues. To adjust the hot water limiter on single lever mixers, please see page 33. No adjustment is necessary when using a continuous flow water heater. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid. For cleaning instructions, please see the enclosed brochure. For assembly instructions, please refer to page 31.
Safety Notes
- Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
- The shower system may only be used for bathing, hygienic and body cleansing purposes.
- The hot and cold supplies must be of equal pressu-res.
Installation Instructions
- The fitting must be installed, flushed and tested after the valid norms.
- If the instantaneous water heater causes problems or if you wish to increase the water flow, the EcoSmart® (flow limiter) located behind the aerator can be removed.
- Hansgrohe mixers can be used together with hydrauli-cally and thermically controlled continuous flow heat-ers if the flow pressure is at least 0,15 MPa.
