Product Information
The product is RainSelect, available in five different models: 1531318X, 1531218X, 1531418X, 1531118X, and 1531018X. The user manual includes instructions in multiple languages for installation and use of the product. The product is designed to control the water flow from different outlets in a bathroom, including showers and tubs. The product comes with technical specifications that include information on operating pressure, recommended operating pressure, and test pressure.
Product Usage Instructions
- Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
- Ensure that the hot and cold supplies have equal pressures.
- Install the RainSelect body with G 3/4 outlet pointing downwards. (see page 20)
- The gasket is not suitable for hot glue.
- The basic set can be mounted in different ways depending on the building application. Refer to installation examples on page 20.
- For direct wall installation, follow Fig. 2a / 2A or Fig. 2b / 2B for direct wall installation with 10 mm adjustable mounting studs.
- For installation on a carrier system, follow Fig. 2c / 2C.
- For bath tub / Exafill installation, refer to page 22 and screw in the plug (Fig. 1 – 3).
- The product has a maximum operating pressure of 1 MPa and a recommended operating pressure of 0.1 – 0.5 MPa.
- The test pressure is 1.6 MPa (1 MPa = 10 bar = 147 PSI).
Safety Notes
- Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
- The hot and cold supplies must be of equal pressures.
Installation Instructions
- Prior to installation, inspect the product for transport damages. After it has been installed, no transport or surface damage will be honored.
- The pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushed and tested as per the applicable standards.
- The plumbing codes applicable in the respective countries must be observed.
- The installation dimensions stated in these installation instructions are ideal for people of approximately 1800 mm in body height. The dimensions can be altered if required. In this case, pay attention to the fact that a change of installation height will also change the minimum height, and that the altered mounting dimensions must be taken into consideration.
Product Assembly
Install body with G 3/4 outlet pointing downwards. (see page 20)
Important! The gasket is not suitable for hot glue.

The product is exclusively designed for drinking water!
Special information for UK
If installing this product with a pump, please be aware that it has to have
negative head switching. This product will not function with a positive head
pump.
