Setup Instructions
AudioMagic Rack
Assembly
We recommend unpacking and installing the rack with the help of another
person. By design, the rack will exhibit a small degree of sway in the
horizontal plane; it is stable vertically and can support equipment with a
weight of up to 45 kg per level.
Extension levels are available separately. Do not exceed four levels per rack.
- Take the two boards and the four columns out of the packaging. Unscrew the long and the short column sections but leave the levelling feet (1) and the top screws (2) in place.
- Stand one of the boards on a long edge, insert a distance ring (3) into each corner hole and, for each hole, screw a short (4) and a long (5) column section together (the short section from below, the long section from above).
- Carefully tip the rack onto its feet. Caution: Hold on to the feet when tipping the rack. The columns are not fixed to the boards and can slide through the holes from above.
- Carefully lower the second board onto the top screws of the columns.
- Use a 6-mm hex key to ensure that the top screws are fastened securely.
- Adjust the levelling feet until the boards are level. The weight of the rack should be distributed evenly across the four feet and the top screws should be flush with the holes in the boards.
Note: When adjusting the feet, hold the short column section (4) to avoid the column assembly from turning along with its foot.
