DELTACO QI-1030 Fast Wireless Car Charger

Product Information

The QI-1030 is a fast wireless car charger that is designed to charge compatible devices without the need for cables. It comes with a plastic clip that allows you to mount it to the ventilation outlet of your car. The charger has safety instructions that guide you on how to use it safely, and it is compatible with various devices that support Qi wireless charging. The charger requires a QC2.0/3.0 adapter or the original adapter with 9V output for 10W fast wireless charging, and a QC2.0/3.0 adapter and the newest iOS system for 7.5W fast wireless charging.

Product Usage Instructions

Mount the charger to the ventilation outlet of your car using the plastic clip provided.
Ensure that the phone case is not thicker than 2-3mm for optimal charging.
Plug the USB connector of the charging cable into a power adapter.
Place your phone on the wireless charger to charge.
If you use hot air on the charger, it will perform with less efficiency. Therefore, either close the ventilation outlet or use only cold air to keep the charger working optimally.

Compatibility

The QI-1030 wireless car charger is compatible with various devices that support Qi wireless charging. For 10W fast wireless charging, it is compatible with Samsung S9/S9+/S8/S8+/Note 8/Note 5/ S7/S7 edge/ S6 edge plus. For 7.5W fast wireless charging, it is compatible with iPhone X/8/8 Plus. For 5W wireless charging, it is compatible with all devices with Qi charging built-in or with an accessory/add-on (Qi wireless receiver).

Safety Instructions

Keep the wireless charger away and protected from water and other liquids.
To clean the charger, use a dry cloth and make sure it is not connected to a power supply.
The connected adapter or USB port should have enough power output.
The charging cable should be compatible with the power adapter’s output.
There should be no metal or magnet on the back of the phone or phone case.
The phone should be placed at the center of the wireless charger.
The phone must support Qi wireless charging.

Safety instructions

Keep the wireless charger away and protected from water and other liquids.

Environment temperature should be: -20°C to +45°C. The following situations can cause failures like: high temperature/no or slow charging:
The connected adapter or USB port does not have enough power output.
The charging cable it is not compatible with the power adapter’s output.
The phone case is too thick, recommended phone case thickness is 2-3mm.
There is metal or a magnet on the back of the phone or phone case.
The phone is not placed at the center of the wireless charger.
The phone does not support Qi wireless charging.

Car ventilation mounting

Mount the charger to the ventilation outlet of your car by using a plastic clip. You can tighten the plastic nut to make the device stabile.After you have mounted the wireless charger to the ventilation, please either close the ventilation outlet or use only cold air to keep the charger working at optimal performance. If you use hot air on the charger it will perform with less efficiency.

Below is a compatibility list for charging, as of writing this, in the year 2018. This list will be outdated, we recommend checking for more current information from the manufacturer of your device.
For 10W fast wireless charging: Samsung S9/S9+/S8/S8+/Note 8/Note 5/ S7/S7 edge/ S6 edge plus. QC2.0/3.0 adapter or original adapter with 9V output is required, otherwise, it will give 5W power.For 10W fast wireless charging:
For 7.5W fast wireless charging:
iPhone X/8/8 Plus. QC2.0/3.0 adapter and newest iOS system required, otherwise it will give 5W power. The original iPhone adapter only supports 5W charging.
For 5W wireless charging:
