1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the product, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injuries or damage that are the result of incorrect usage. Always keep the instructions in a safe and accessible location for future reference.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children of less than 8 years of age and persons with very extensive and complex disabilities should be kept away from the product unless continuously supervised.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Keep all packaging away from children and dispose of it appropriately.
Children of less than 8 years of age shall not carry out cleaning and user maintenance of the product without supervision.
This appliance is for cooking purposes only. Do not change the specification of this product.
CAUTION: The cooking process has to be continuously supervised.
WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with use of fat can be dangerous and may cause fire.
Keep the fats away from flames or heated objects during cooking. Heated fat can release flammable vapours.
Do not use and handle damaged or repaired product. Regularly check the lid for possible damage.
The lid becomes hot during use. Always use oven gloves or potholders.
Always place the hot lid on a potholder, or dry towels.
Handling the lid without an appropriate degree of care could result in breakage, chipping, cracking or severe scratching:
- Do not immerse the hot lid in cold water and do not cool it under running cold water. A sudden temperature change can damage the glass.
- Do not place the hot lid on a wet or cold surface and do not handle it with a wet cloth.
- Do not use the lid in a microwave or oven.
- Never put the lid directly on a heat source such as flames, burners, or grills.
- Do not cover and/or block the steam outlet in the lid.
Make sure that the lid is cold before washing, refrigerating or freezing.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The lids are designed to perform on extractor hobs. The lids can be also used with other cooking appliances and traditional exhaust hoods. The lids fit on the common cookware types.
When you place the lid on the cookware, the steam is efficiently moved into the exhaust. This prevents cooking smells and excessive humidity.

Cooking guidelines
- Place the cookware centrally on the burner.
- Burner area should be the same size or smaller than the bottom of the cookware – this enables maximum stability while cooking and reduces energy consumption.
- Lid diameter should be the same as the diameter of the cookware.
- Place the lid on the cookware while cooking to keep heat loss as low as possible.
- When cooking is finished, carefully remove the lid from the cookware.
Cooking with extractor hob
- Before you start cooking, make sure that the steam opening in the lid, is positioned towards the integrated exhaust. The opening in the lid guides the steam downwards directly to the exhaust.
Cooking with traditional hood.
- Make sure that the steam opening of the lid points to the center of the cooker.
Cooking on gas hob
- Burner area should be smaller than the diameter of the cookware.
- Ensure that the gas flame does not burn around the sides of the cookware base.
