VESTEL 20230328 EV Charging Station

Product Information

The Vestel charging station is an electric vehicle (EV) charger that can be operated using either an RFID card or the E.ON Home app. It is important to refer to your vehicle handbook as makes and models could impact how the charger works with your vehicle.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that both the EV charging station and your vehicle are ready for charging.
  2. Plug in the charging lead into the EV charging station and your vehicle. Refer to your vehicle handbook for more information on this.
  3. Start your charging session using either the RFID card or E.ON Home app (boost or schedule charging). The blue light will flash every 2 seconds.
  4. The green light will flash for up to 10 minutes during the randomised delay stage. Note that the RFID card can override this stage if used again.
  5. The EV charging station will be on standby until your vehicle accepts the charge. Check the vehicle schedule time and make sure it’s in park and lock mode.
  6. Look out for a pulsating blue light as it shows that your vehicle is charging.
  7. A solid blue light indicates that your vehicle is either fully charged or that the session has been suspended.
  8. To end your charging session, use the RFID card or E.ON Home app again.
  9. Remove the charging cable from your vehicle. If you need help with this, refer to your vehicle handbook.
  10. If there is a constant red light, turn off the EV charging station and then turn it on again. If you need additional assistance, call us on 0333 202 4417.

Get ready to charge

  1. The first step is to make sure your EV charging station and your vehicle are ready for charging.

  2. It’s time to plug in. Grab the charging lead and plug it into the EV charging station and your vehicle. Check out your vehicle handbook for more info on this.

  3. Get your charging session underway via the RFID card or E.ON Home app (boost or schedule charging). The blue light will flash every 2 seconds.

  1. The green light will flash for up to 10 minutes during the randomised delay stage. It’s worth noting that the RFID card can override this stage if used again. On standby and ready for action. The EV charging station will be on standby until your vehicle accepts the charge. Just check the vehicle schedule time and make sure it’s in park and lock mode.

  3. When you see a solid blue light, your vehicle is either fully charged or the session has been suspended.

  4. Time to end your session? Use the RFID card or E.ON Home app again.

  5. Now you can remove the charging cable from your vehicle. Need help with this? Take a look at the vehicle handbook.

  6. If there’s a constant red light, simply, turn o” the EV charging station and then turn it on again.
