How To Install String Lights
If you need to wrap the light around a post or tree trunk, please see the
following installation steps
Step 1: After receiving the product, please check whether the package is
complete.
Step 2: Plug in the power supply first and check whether the light can be used
normally.
Step 3: If you need to wrap the lights around the door post, do not unwind the
lights (In order to facilitate transportation, the string lights will be fixed
into a column). Find the plug first and unwind part of the light along the
plug. Make sure to leave enough slack for the plug to reach an extension cord
or electrical outlet.
Step 4: The rest of the light is recommended not to unwind, pick up string
lights and starting at the bottom of door post, slowly winding on the door
post or tree.
If you need to hang string lights in the eaves or other places, please see the
following installation steps
Step 1: After receiving the product, please check whether the package is
complete.
Step 2: Plug in the power first and check whether the light can be used
normally.
Step 3: Measure the size of the place you need to hang. You can find the plug
of the string lights and unravel the length of the corresponding size along
the plug.
Step 4: Secure the hooks and clips in your chosen location.
Spread out the hooks evenly to prevent the light strings from drooping or
gaping. Or you can also use Plastic Zip Ties or Ropes to fix it. (The package
does not contain the hooks, clips, Plastic Zip Ties and the Ropes.)
Step 5: Carefully attach the light strands using the clips or the hooks. Make
sure each section is free of tangles or twists.
Step 6:Then repeat the above installation steps to continue hanging the
remaining part of the string lights.

Our some suggestions
Plan Your Design:
The best way to hang Christmas lights outdoors is to start with a plan: Pick a
Focal Point: For example, if you have columns that frame your entryway, that
may be where you want to start.
Without a focal point, Christmas lights for a house or landscape look chaotic,
and chances are good the final look won’t be what you’d hoped for.
Consider the Surface: For example, if you want lights on the roofline or
eaves, check factors such as gutter thickness and shingle flexibility. Other
popular spots for outdoor Christmas lights include:
- On bushes, hedges and trees
- Around pillars, posts or deck railings
- Around windows, door frames and other architectural features
- Along driveways and pathways
- Inside window boxes and planters
Make sure you have a way to hang lights on each of the surfaces you plan to decorate.
Measure Light Locations:
Calculate Lights for the Landscape: The number of lights you’ll need to
decorate trees and shrubs is a matter of personal preference, but as with your
Christmas tree, a good rule of thumb is 100 lights for every 1-1/2 feet of
tree or shrub you want to cover.
So, a 6-foot evergreen needs at least 400 lights for a basic level of
lighting.
For a more striking effect, stagger two sets of lights side by side or look
for lights that are spaced closer together. Denser lights equal a brighter
display.
