HSI Fire & Safety Group, as the manufacturer of Versa-Tools detector test equipment, warrrants all products to be free of manufacturing defects for one (1) year.
LIMITED WARRANTY will not extend to any product that has been subject to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or used in violation of instructions as furnished by HSI FIRE & SAFETY GROUP.
No liability will be accepted for damage directly or indirectly caused from the use of HSI FIRE & SAFETY GROUP products or from other causes. Liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement of our product if found to be defective during the first year of ownership

Aerosol Dispenser Head Instructions for Use

Remove bottom cup by screwing it counter clockwise.

Snap fit aerosol can into the cups with the nozzle up.

Screw aerosol cup with can in place clockwise into base unit, until aerosol is slightly released.

Unscrew the cup counter clockwise approximately half a turn to eliminate the pressure on nozzle.

Insert yoke end of dispenser into end of Versa-Pole.

Placing the open end of chamber over the detector, ensure a tight seal to the ceiling.

Press upwards on the pole to engage.
Only slight upwards pressure is required to release the appropriate amount of gas to activate the alarm’s sensor. -
Remove chamber from alarm to clear the sensing chamber.

Telescoping Test Pole Instructions for Use
- Attach the aerosol dispenser to the end of pole.
- To lock/unlock pole depress lock button and twist each section slightly.
- Twist pole in opposite direction until lock button aligns with hole and snaps together.
VT-694 Heat Detector Tester
Heat Detector Tester Kit Instructions for Use
- Attach Heat Detector Head to end of pole with provided adapter.
- To lock/unlock, depress lock button and twist slightly in opposite direction until lock button aligns with hole and snaps together.
- Place HP94 Heat Pad on ‘V’ cup and actuate with provided Saline.
- Extend Pole to within 6” of detector until unit activates.
- Remove upon activation to clear alarm.

These items not compatible with Enclosed Delivery Tools
For N-30 Head Unit:
- Insert aerosol can into clip, seating the rim of can on clip for support.
- Slide trigger knob downward to activate aerosol.
To add N-59 Extensions:
- Remove Cap from base of N-30 and insert rod at top of N-59 into base of the N-30. Slide trigger on N-59 to activate aerosol.
- Up to (5) N-59 units can be added to a N-30 for additional reach, by removing cap at bottom of N-59 by inserting the rod into the bottom of the N-59 and turning clockwise until tight.
- Always use the trigger on the bottom N-59 unit to activate the aerosol.
To Add Smokin’ Gun Adapter:
- Place round cap on aerosol can securely over can rim.
- Attach 18” tube.
