Product Information

The 1:18 Scale High-Speed Brushed RC Car is a remote-controlled car that is designed for high-speed racing. It comes with a remote controller that allows you to control the car’s movements, including steering, acceleration, and braking. Product Usage Instructions

If you experience any issues with your 1:18 Scale High-Speed Brushed RC Car, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

Steering not working properly

  • Replace the batteries of the remote with brand new ones and fully charge the car battery.
  • Turn off the switch on the remote controller, and pair again; Do not touch the throttle when pairing.
  • Make sure the steering arms are still connected properly.
  • Unplug the wires connected the ESC and servo, then pair the car with the transmitter again. Above are to check the defective part; if the car pairs with the remote controller, then the servo might be the problem.

The wheels are not spinning properly

  • Tighten the locknuts hold the wheels in place.
  • If all parts are intact, the differentials may be broken and needs to be replaced.

The battery/USB cable not working

  • Inspect all the pieces are in place and no foreign objects were blocked inside.
  • Check the front and rear differentials if they works properly with both the axels and main drive shaft. Make sure the gears of the differential and main driving shaft are not stripped.

Rebinding the remote control with the car
Turn on the remote control first and within 3 seconds turn on the car for rebinding them; if not successful, repeat the action 2-3 times. If the pairing is still not successful, the remote controller and ESC needs to be replaced.

Other issues and solutions

  • Batteries are incorrectly assembled in the remote controller: Check transmitter batteries and refitsee model/transmitter manual
  • Weak or damaged battery in the car: Install fully charged batteries
  • Worn or broken ESC wires or motor: Check condition, reconnect and insulate
  • ESC shut down due to overheating: Stop driving, ESC or motor has to cool down
  • The motor is damaged: Replace with new unit
  • ESC is damaged: Replace with new unit
  • The low voltage cutoff function on ESC is activated to protect battery: check components and replace. Remove, cool down and re-charge the battery
  • The vehicle can not reverse: ESC is damaged. Replace with new unit. Battery damaged or not fully charged: Check condition, replace or recharge
  • Short runtime: The motor is dirty or damaged. Incorrect ESC battery mode voltage cutoff for the battery you are using. Check condition, replace or recharge. Adjust the battery mode of the unit.
  • Limited steering angle: The button of the Transmitter Steering Rate is set incorrectly. Damaged steering components. Adjust the Transmitter Steering Rate button per the manual. Check components and replace them.
  • Short range or no control on the vehicle: The transmitter battery is weak or installed incorrectly. Servo wires of the receiver are loose or connected incorrectly.
