Product Information
The LISHI HU162 is a tool used for picking and decoding OEM door locks and keys. It comes with Axis A, Axis B, and Axis C for identifying and calculating the biting of each cut position. The tool includes picking and decoding directions for each axis, along with a master table for bitting calculations.
Product Usage Instructions
- Identify the lock and key using the product’s Art ID: LP-HU162-SC3-D-AG.
- Follow the picking direction for Axis A by moving the lever up or down on each cut position.
- Use the green and pink levers on Axis B and Axis C to determine the side cuts.
- Decode Axis A by identifying the cut positions in red, which need to be entered into a key machine.
- Decode Axis B and Axis C by retrieving the angles of each cut position before and after they are picked.
- Calculate the bitting using the master table provided for each axis.
- Enter the calculated bitting into another table to determine the missing cuts.
- Fill in the final table with the known bitting from previous tables.
- Use the final table to cut the key according to the identified bitting on each axis.

Picking & Decoding
DECODING DIRECTION – Axis A
- When decoding this lock it is vital to decode both Top & Bottom in each cut position.
- The reading of the cut depth Top & the cut depth Bottom will always add up to 6.
- Example when reading a 1 depth at the Top , The bottom should read as a 5 at the bottom to equal 6.
- Using the table above fill in both positions Top & Bottom in each cut position.
The positions in Red are the cuts that need to be entered into your key machine.
DECODED EXAMPLE AXIS A
- The Partial Key Bitting on Axis A is 533142
- Need to now decode Axis B & C to complete the Bitting Calculations.
Axis B & Axis C Are calculated by retrieving the Angles of each cut position
before & after they are picked.
MASTER TABLE

- Bitting is Calculated using the Master Table below.
- Example: Position 1 Read as 90 before picked & 60 when picked.
- Using the table below 90 & 60 = 3
- The Calculated Bitting is : 3 – 4 – 1

The Bitting must now be entered into another table to calculate Axis B & C
completely for Key Cutting
The calculated Bitting must be entered into the red cells of the table

To Calculate the missing cuts in the White cells Each cut position must Add up
to 5.
Axis A
Fill in the final Table with known bitting from previous tables
- On Axis A – Fill in the first 3 Bittings with the 1st 3 Bittings from Axis B
- On Axis B – Fill the rest of the bittings with 111111
- On Axis C – Fill the rest of the Bittings with 222222
