PANTHER VISION POWERPAW 600 Waterproof Rechargeable Hand Warmer

Product Information

The POWERPAW Hand Warmer is a rechargeable device that provides heat to keep your hands warm in cold weather. It has four temperature levels and a battery charge indicator. The hand warmer comes with a USB cable for charging and a micro USB connector.

Charging

Fully charge POWERPAW battery before first use.

  • Open Cap. Insert micro USB plug. Plug into USB charger.
  • When charging, the Charge LED will be Red.
  • When fully charged, the Charge LED will turn Green.
  • After charging, remove USB plug and close cap.

Operation:

  • Press the button to turn on heater.
  • Press button again to select higher temperature.
  • There are 4 temperature levels.

Approximate heater temperature

  • 1 LED = 100°F / 37.8°C
  • 2 LED = 110°F / 43.3°C
  • 3 LED = 120°F / 48.9°C
  • 4 LED = 130°F / 54.4°C
  • No LEDs = OFF

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

If the battery is too hot (45C) or too cold (0C) to be charged, the charge LED will flash red. Once the battery reaches a safe charging temperature, the battery will start charging.
If all 4 of the power level LEDs are flashing there is a problem with the temperature sensor or heating element. Contact us at 847-783-5900 ext. 107 for a replacement POWERPAW.

Charging:
Open Cap. Insert micro USB plug. Plug USB cable into USB charger.

When charging:
The Charge LED will be Red. The Charge Level LEDs will show the charge level:

  • 1st LED flashing ……………………………………………..0 to 25% charged
  • 1st LED on and 2nd LED flashing ……………………….25 to 50% charged
  • 1st and 2nd LED on and 3rd LED flashing ……………50 to 75% charged
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd LED on and 4th LED flashing ……..75 to 100% charged

When fully charged:
The Charge LED will turn Green and all 4 of the Charge Level LEDs will be on. After 5 minutes, the 4 Charge Level LEDs will turn off and only the green Charge LED will be on. After charging, remove USB plug and close cap.

Operation:
Press the power button to turn on the POWERPAW heater. When the POWERPAW is turned on, the Charge Level LED will show the battery charge level.

  • 1 red flash less than 25%
  • 2 red flashes 25 to 50%
  • 3 red flashes 50 to 75%
  • 4 red flashes 75 to 100%

HELPFUL TIPS

  • Using lower temperature settings often provides suffcient warmth and prolongs battery life.
  • Using a 2amp USB charger and the provided 2amp charging cord will fully charge the heater in 4 hours. If you experience longer charging times, check to make sure your USB charger is rated for at least 2 amps.
  • The POWERPAW heater is only waterproof if the cap is securely closed.

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Do not expose the POWERPAW unit to fire or open flame.
  • Batteries can explode or leak if crushed, disassembled, or exposed to fire or high temperature.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not remove the silicone body covering, doing so may damage internal components causing an unsafe condition and will void the warranty.
  • Operating temperature range 15°F to 90°F
  • Storage temperature range 15°F to 110°F
  • Charging temperature range 32°F to 100°F
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
  • Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  • Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C may cause explosion.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  • Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
