CEILING FAN INSTALLATION
WARNING: The electrical connection and installation of the ceiling fan
must be done by a certified and specialized electrician and always in
accordance with national regulations for electrical installations.
-
Remove all packing materials and keep them away from babies and children. The following are included in the package:
-
Place the mounting plate in a suitable place on the ceiling (following safety instructions) and secure it with the supplied screws.
NOTE: The mounting screws included in the package are intended for concrete wall. For constructions from other material, e.g. wooden constructions, the appropriate type of screw should be used. -
Remove by unscrewing the arched metal parts above the round plate and place them on the blades securing them with 2 screws on the two ends of each arch.
-
Secure the blades to the motor body using 2 mounting screws for each blade: Unscrew the blade retainer screws located on the motor body. Place each blade in place (on the opposite side to where you placed the metal arcs in the previous step) and align the holes in the fins with the holes on the motor body. Then carefully tighten the 2 screws of each blade until you are sure that the blades are secured on the motor body and there is no risk of them coming out of position during the operation of the appliance.
-
Then pass the wires through the round plate hole, apply the round plate onto the motor body aligning the plate holes with the motor holes and secure with the 3 screws.
-
Unscrew the screws on the lamp bracket (which are used to attach the lamp to the motor) and then connect the motor power wires to the LED lamp wire. Then place the three screws you removed in the corresponding holes and screw them until the lamp is secured on the base.
-
Choose whether to use the small or large support arm. Remove the support pin and lock R from the arm. Route the bracket through the top cover and protective cover, then route the power cables through the bracket.
-
Loosen the two screws of the motor support shaft, Then lower the arm with the desired length down into the hole of the motor support shaft, insert the support pin and secure with the lock R and. tightening with the 2 screws until it locks into place. Lower the decorative cover to hide the screws.
-
Hang the ball joint and the fan on the mounting plate. Make sure that the guide pin of the down rod is inserted into the socket of the ball joint.
-
Connect the motor cables to the remote control receiver and the power supply as shown in the picture below.
- Neutral – N (Blue cable)
- Motor (phase) – L (Brown cable)
- Lamp (phase) – L (Black cable)During connection of the wires, securely connect the copper wires of each cable and connect the terminal to the cable.
Be careful to ensure that all the wires of the cable are properly inserted into the terminal and that no bare copper protrudes from the terminal, to avoid the possibility of short circuit and electric shock.
-
Insert the remote control receiver between the bracket and the ball joint, as shown in the following picture.
-
Loosen two screws on the mounting bracket and install the upper canopy in such a way that the loose screws go from the largest to the smallest holes in the mounting bracket. Tighten the two loose screws to secure the upper canopy in place.
-
Place the lamp cover onto the lamp holder by turning it clockwise to lock it into place. NOTE: If during operation, the fan seems to shake, double-sided tape a balance pad to a blade and test. If the shaking persists, try the same procedure with the remaining blades.
