BATTERY INSTALLATION / REPLACEMENT

Insert two 123A Batteries with terminals oriented as shown in the engraved schematic on X300 body (Figure 1).

Close Battery Cover until compartment latch clicks and locks cover in
-
To replace batteries, depress latch to open Battery
-
Install fresh batteries and re-secure Battery
-
(OPTIONAL) Using pliers, insert battery cover Retaining Pin through both holes in latch bracket, until pin locks in place and latch cannot be released (Figure 2).
CAUTION: Mixing a depleted battery with a new battery can cause damage to the weaponlight. Always use two fresh batter- ies when replacing old ones.
MOUNTING X300 TURBO TO WEAPON
point using a spring-assisted latch that can be actuated by hand and is done
without tools. A Picatinny Lever Latch is included to fit host weapon
accessory rails with Picatinny cross slots.
X300 A-series weaponlights also include the Rail-Lock system that provides a
more robust attachment platform that is also easily actuated by hand but does
require a hex key to rigidly attach to
a weapon accessory rail. A Universal and Picatinny Rail-Lock is included to fit host weapon accessory rails with Universal and Picatinny cross slots.
INSTALLATION & REMOVAL (LEVER LATCH SYSTEM)

Align Rail Guides with grooves of Universal accessory
-
Pull down on Lever Latch tabs and slide X300 onto the accessory rail of host weapon until Lever Latch clicks and locks securely in place (Figure 3).

To remove, press down on Lever Latch tabs and slide X300 forward off rail (Figure 3).
INSTALLATION & REMOVAL (RAIL-LOCK SYSTEM)
- Pull Rail Latch Lock tabs rearward to release Rail Latch. Slide Rail Latch to the open position–Rail Latch is not designed to come all the way out (Figure 4).
- Slide X300 onto host weapon accessory rail and align rail latch with accessory rail slot on host Press in Rail Latch until it locks in place (Figure 5).
- Insert 5/64-inch Hex Wrench into slot and tighten Lock Actuator
- To remove, loosen Lock Actuator Screw with Hex Wrench, pull back Rail Latch Lock tabs, slide Rail Latch to the open position and remove weaponlight from host weapon accessory
LEVER LATCH REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Use the 5/64-inch Hex Wrench to remove Rail Guides by unscrewing the Hex Screws (Figure 6).

Lift up and remove Lever Latch from hinge Capture Lever Latch Spring and retain. Retain and store replaced Lever Latch future use (Figure 7).

Hook Lever Latch onto X300 Hinge Pin so the SureFire logo is Place Spring under Lever Latch so it nests in round slot on the underside of Lever Latch and on the top of the X300 body (Figure 7).

Press down and hold Lever Insert screws into Rail Guides. Align left Rail Guide with holes on left side of body and tighten screws using an alternating pattern until all three screws
stop turning. Repeat for right side Rail Guide. Tighten screws to 4 in-lbs, or use the 5/64” hex wrench and tighten screws with light pressure (do not over- tighten). -
While holding down Lever Latch tabs, slide X300 onto host weapon accessory rail until Lever Latch’s crossbar mates with accessory rail cross

(OPTIONAL) Sparingly apply Loctite 242 to each Rail Guide Screw to further prevent screws from loosening from live fire
RAIL-LOCK® INSTALLATION
-
Using the 5/64-inch Hex Wrench, remove both Rail Guides (Figure 6).

Remove Lever Latch and Store both for future use.

Insert Lock Actuator into slot on Rail Latch Insert Lock Actuator Screw into screw hole and turn clockwise until it engages Lock Actuator (Figure 8).

Place hooked end of Rail Latch Lock onto Hinge Pin and insert Rail Latch Lock (actuator facing down) so it fits into slot on top of Lock Actuator Screw may need to be loosened or tightened for screw head to align with screw head slot (Figure 9).

Select appropriate Rail
-
Lift front edge of Rail Latch Connect slotted side of Rail Latch to front edge of Rail Latch Lock (Figure 8).

Lower Rail Latch Lock and attached Rail Latch, fitting both into their designated slots in
-
Insert screws into Rail Guides. Align left Rail Guide with holes on left side of body and tighten screws using an alternating pattern until all three screws stop Repeat for right side Rail Guide. Tighten screws to 4 in-lbs, or use supplied 5/64” hex wrench and tighten screws with light pressure (do not over- tighten). One Rail Guide has a notch, which fit over the Rail Latch (Figure 6).

(OPTIONAL) Sparingly apply Loctite 242 to each Rail Guide Screw to further prevent screws from loosening from live fire
LIGHT OPERATION
For momentary-on light operation, press and hold either the
right or left side of tailcap toggle switch; release to turn light off (Figure
10). For constant-on operation, rotate tailcap toggle switch up or
down; rotate in the opposite direction to turn light off (Figure 10).
Note: Remote switches are available for SureFire X-Series WeaponLights.
