Product Information
The LINGONBERRY OVERDRIVE is a BJF Series overdrive pedal manufactured by LEP INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. It is a higher-gain version of the Strawberry Red Overdrive with optimized control over lower-gain sounds. The filtering has been altered to allow a bit more bite as well as a tighter sound. The pedal features Volume, Treble, and Drive controls, and a Low trimmer switch that sets the low-end frequency response. The pedal is housed in a high-quality aluminum enclosure and has True-Bypass Switching. It can be powered by a 9V battery or a standard DC power supply.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect your guitar to the input jack of the LINGONBERRY OVERDRIVE.
- Connect the output jack of the pedal to an amplifier or other effects pedals.
- Turn the power on by plugging in a 9V battery or a standard DC power supply.
- Adjust the Volume control to set the output volume of the pedal.
- Adjust the Treble control to change the tone from ‘soft’ to ‘slightly biting’.
- Adjust the Drive control to set the gain and distortion of the circuit.
- Use the Low trimmer switch to set the low-end frequency response.
- Experiment with different settings to find your desired sound.
- When you’re finished using the pedal, turn off the power and disconnect it from your guitar and amplifier or other effects pedals.

Features
The LINGONBERRY OVERDRIVE inherits the characteristics of the original Strawberry Red Overdrive, however, it produces a stronger distortion and a low cut trim pot has been installed. Additionally, lower-end frequencies are more predominant. In order to make these changes, BJF has reduced the signal necessary to obtain the perfect amount of distortion and compression.

It is safe to say that the Strawberry Overdrive hsa been and continues to be one of the best-selling BJF Series FX pedals. For this reason, I decided to expand on this model’s success with two other models; The Cranberry and Lingonberry. The LINGONBERRY OVERDRIVE is a higher-gain version of the Strawberry Red Overdrive. In addition to having optimized control over lower gain sounds, the filtering has been altered to allow a bit more bite as well as a tighter sound. The player can adjust 3 characteristics:
- Volume: Output volume
- Treble: Allows to change the tone from ‘soft’ to ‘slightly biting’
- Drive: Sets the gain and distortion of the circuit.
