MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Removal of safety devices, improper maintenance, replacement of bar and/or
chain with non-original spare parts can lead to severe bodily injury.
Always perform maintenance or service with the battery unplugged.
Carry out the following maintenance and care operations when you finish
working with the machine to ensure the smooth operation of this machine in
future occasions.
LUBRICATION
The lubrication of the area of the blades is essential to guarantee the life
of the blade and the scissor motor. Lubricate the gear with liquid lithium
grease by introducing a few drops into the lubrication hole, always before
starting work and every 10 minutes of work. Never apply grease to the blades.
BLADE SHARPENING.
Sharpen the blade every 100 cuts maximum to ensure proper cutting edge. A
poor-quality edge will imply additional effort for the scissors and the cut
will not be clean, which can cause diseases in the area of the cut of the
plant.
The blade is sharpened with a Corundum whetstone resting it on the edge of the
moving blade and making outward movements.
Sharpens only on the outside of the blade, never on the inside.
Remember that it is better to sharpen a little many times than a lot only
once, so we recommend that you sharpen the blade costantly. The scissors will
work better, the cut will be of better quality and you will have more
performance on the job.
CHANGING THE BLADE
For the change of the blade, we recommend that you do it at your nearest
technical service.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The scissor emits the following “beep” to identify problems:
Beep Number | Problem | Solution |
---|---|---|
1 | Low battery | Battery charge |
2 | Communication failure | Send to technical service |
3 | Lack of lubrication on the blade | Lubricate the blade |
4 | Motor phase loss | Send to technical service |
5 | Phase line short circuit | Send to technical service |
TRANSPORT
Before transporting this machine, close the blades, turn off the scissors and disconnect the battery from the machine.
