- Ensure Gas Regulator (3) is turned to the “-” (OFF) position (turned fully clockwise) before assembling.
- Keep the Butane Cylinder upright when fitting to the Connector (1).
- With the Connector squarely on top of the cylinder valve, gently screw the Connector (1) into the cylinder valve until it meets the 0-ring of the valve. Hand tighten only. Do not overtighten to prevent damage to the Connector (1).

- Use Chef Master (Item 40062) Butane Fuel.
- Ensure Gas Regulator (3) is turned to the “-” (OFF) position (turned fully clockwise).
- Shake the Butane Cylinder to warm the fuel.

- Ensure flame is extinguished and Burner Tube (1) has cooled and that no other heat sources or flames are nearby.
