ZHS19 Door and Window Sensor
Congratulations and thank you for purchasing the Schwaiger ZHS19 product.
Below you will find useful operating guidelines.
Network inclusion of the sensor
Put the Gateway into inclusion mode.
Remove the protective battery cover, press the networking button for 2 seconds
until the green LED starts to flash fast.
This is a smart door and window sensor which is based on the Zambezi Wireless
Networking technology. It has a very low power consumption which makes for
longer battery life. The sensor detects whether a door or window is opened or
closed. Thanks to the dual sensor design, installation is even more flexible
and adaptable.
Network inclusion

Put the Gateway into inclusion mode
Please pay attention to the fact that during network inclusion, the distance between sensor and Gateway may not exceed 0.5 m. -
Networking button
Press the networking button (within the hole) for 2 seconds until the green LED starts to flash fast, then let go. The device will be detected and included into the network. -
Installation of Door/Window Sensor
Select a place for installation. Remove the protective cover and stick the bracket to the place desired. The sensor should be installed at an immovable place, e.g. a door frame. The magnet can be installed on either side of the sensor at the movable part of the location (e.g. door panel, see example).
The distance between sensor and magnet should not exceed 15 mm. -

Network removal of the device
Put the Gateway into removal mode by choosing „Home setup“ in the main menu and then click on „Add device“ (See images on the left). Then reset the device to default settings. -
Reset to default settings
Press the networking button for 5 seconds until the green LED starts to flash slowly. Note: For network inclusion, the sensor must always be in the factory state.

The device is not a toy. Keep away from children and pets. The device cannot
be repaired and must not be opened.
Disposal
Do not dispose of batteries or electric and electronic devices in the normal
household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return electrical and
electronic devices and batteries that are at the end of their useful life to
the point of sale or public collection points that have been set up for this
purpose. Legislation in the country of use governs individual details
regarding disposal.
